It's a good question, and one that doesn't seem to have had any consensus elsewhere on the internets.

You need someone big, taut, but not too good looking, someone with a gruff voice and a weary look.

Good list, but most of the people are too small for Jack Reacher. I could see Jason Statham as a good Reacher, but he doesn't quite have the build. My man Dolph would probably also be a lot better than Cruise. I'd go with him instead. 20 years ago, Arnie would have been a contender as well, I think...

I did get a strange and very odd thought, though: If it wasn't for the accent and if he could lose a few pounds, I think that maybe Gerard Depardieu could be a wild card... Am I totally off my rocker with that? Confused | :confused:

Glancing down the pictures Dolph struck me as right facially straight away.

I don't know about the exact size, but I do know that he is BIG! Trains in my karate club once in a while when he's in Sweden, but I haven't yet had the luck to meet him, let alone fight him... Unsure | :~

But it's been quite a while since he's been there, so you never know... Sigh | :sigh:
