Yeah, but even with Chilton's you get instructions like this:
To replace planet blaster:
1. Remove Death Star outer skin, ensuring you retain clips 17A, 19D, and 22C.
2. Detach bolts at mounting points 672, 915, and 4. Loosen (but do not remove) bolts at points 10 through 42.
3. Shutdown power system to blaster and detach all couplings. Retaining rings must be replaced on re-installation.
4. Remove blaster.
Reinstall by reversing steps.

But at least with Chilton, what directions you get are usually correct. They can be awfully sketchy, though. I spent two weekends using one to try to fix a headlight dimmer switch in a '95 Buick LeSabre Ltd, with no good results. There's a jillion little plastic bits stuffed inside that steering column, and the manual gives no clues as to how one goes about removing the plastic cowling surrounding everything; it just says to remove it, and try not to set off the air bag. I got it all back together, the switch worked perfectly for 20 minutes, then failed again. The sterring column lock has never worked since, and the ignition makes an odd clicking sound when it's turned. Sheesh - even Chilton isn't half the product it used to be!

I've been through that routine with a couple cars. The best experience I had was with my Miata. I had a copy of the Mazda service manual, an after-market repair guide that had great color pictures, and a huge online community of Miata fans.
Too bad I totaled the car after only owning it for three years  .

That's funny! I very seldom drink but bought a bottle of wine a week ago and yesterday when I got the urge found I didn't have a cork screw. I just moved a few moths ago and evidently it's in storage...but where?

You can still get corked wine there? Most of it is going to those horrid screw-tops here...

Yeah I heard a lot of the wines are going to start having screw tops instead of fiber, just won't be the same!

It's coming, and there's sweet fa you can do about it... Even the good ones are switching to it, as they have no chance of cork taint/spoilage with the screw caps...

That's curious because wine can be stored for a very long time and I've never heard of spoilage being an issue? I think we ought to form a save the cork movement!
