I have been an MVP, it used to be less political, or perhaps I just had not noticed yet. I was also a mod early on in the MSDN forums and I left in disgust over how they mishandled the whole thing. I stopped being an MVP for a variety of reasons, a long time ago. That is to say, they stopped asking me

LOL - that's funny, it was you who deleted it Yes, it was pretty bad, but, while I dislike doing someone's work for them, finding someone who REALLY needs help and is willing to engage in an ongoing conversation to get it, is the most fun I have in the forums.

Two years ago, I posted SQL Server Performance Impacted by New Features[^] I've seen bad SQL many times, but that was the worst I've encountered. It was the first time I'd ever seen when using TOP "n" increased the time to get a response. If the question was deleted, how could you post a solution?

Well, the expedition's purpose is:

So, it does seem a touch ironic. Proof of nothing though (save the weather in the Antarctic is unpredictable), especially not proof of the denier message.
Looking at the "science leaders" of the expedition, it seems they have quite a wide range[^] of studies: invertebrates to tree rings, ornithology to climate modelling. Too bad they couldn't complete the mission (this time anyway, I'm hoping they'll try again).

Well, it's still a long bow to draw from that statement to 'global warming scientists', especially given that, as you say, there's a wide range of disciplines represented.

Not that I don't believe you, but surely you can call yourself whatever you like... Who can say that a title is not a title? Is there a list of approved job titles anywhere that I'm not aware of?
