I have a spreadsheet with some formatted tables. I have deleted a few cells where the formatting was incorrect.
Size of file before change : 36.52KB
Size of file after change : 1.45MB
Void takes some disk space, obviously.(Or maybe I have the option "match to floppy disk size" checked somewhere )

Are you sure you don't have different versions saved? Also, if you went from .xlsx to .xls, you're basically going from zipped to unzipped.

Hm. Are there Images / graphic in this spreadsheet? I had some interesting sideeffects once with MS Word

If you went from an entire row being formatted as X to every cell in the row except a few are formatted as X, you could've ended up with Excel saving formatting data for every single cell in the row separately making file size explode.
I'm not sure of all the ways it can happen; but I managed that once when I initially formatted a row one way and then decided I only wanted the columns with data formatted and selected everything from column F to XDF and uncolored them.

I think that what you described just happened.
Anyway, I can spend one more MB, I just found the result of deleting being an increase in size amusing.

If you decide to fix it anyway, what you do is to apply a full row style and then reformat the cells you want something special on.

It just a pity they can't spell..."YOU ABUSE your roll And Staff"

Nope, I had ham and mustard with coleslaw for lunch. Very nice it was too.

I saw it on imgur. One comment pointed out that the use of the two colors, and especially the pink marker, is definitely a sign that people were pissed off.

So that person did not think that the locked store meant they were pissed off?
