Well, Chris posted about it in the Lounge quite a few years back, so it can't be that secret.
And it can only be used by Codeproject users if I recall correctly.

@Chris-Maunder I think you should think about this topic a bit.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Not sure what time period "back then" entails but I doubt that statement is true. Which doesn't mean that similar problem doesn't exist now but rather that any difference is trivial.

Well we'll probably find out soon enough.

You have to change the polls page filter to "all types" to find it, so the abuse potential is somewhat limited anyway.

Yeah, but my (stolen) halo sits the perfect jaunty angle as it rests on my horns.

What & Where's the argument?

there is no argument. After seeing poll after poll, I thought it was a feature. Seems to be cleverly disguised and somewhat hidden for reasons listed above.

In my experience, management vacuity is redundant - every manager I have worked for was vacuous.

Wow. I'm surprised that you're as well adjusted as you are.
I guess I was lucky to have many good managers.

If you're expecting your manager to know all the details of your job, then you wouldn't have the job. You have to manage their expectations.

nonsense. have a beer.
I expect my manager to keep the idiots out of my cube or office. Watches over spec changes and defends his/her group.
better, the manager needs to know their role and not be a twit.

I expect my manager to:
- Do the necessary tasks so that I can perform my job
- Keep morons of all levels out of my office.
And yes, I've had managers who apparently thought that the best way to get a project done was to demand status reports three times a day.
