If you post a GOTD here every day, I mustn't have to use a Guid-Generator. That would be great.

Or you could just email him every time you need a GUID!

Why at 2 in the afternoon, in a pub, in Crawley!
That is what Aunty did for an article on Milibean's speech. They had it on the TV in a Crawley pub and then asked the regulars what they thought. I guess they edited out the 486 calls of "Where's the free beer you offered ya b'st'rd?"

One assumes that the "journalist" in question resides in Crawley?

my initial reaction to that question is why?, according to the media anyone below 20 will stab you, 30-40 run you down in a car, 40 to 50 be critical of 'the system', 50+ 'burn the Diego baskets' to anyone from out side the UK thinking about it I'm guessing those in a pub at 2pm fit the above profile quite well, those of us gainfully employed are not going to take to a camera crew following us around or be watching TV in the afternoon!

I catch a train then a bus to work. Once at work, I'm pretty much stuck here for the day, and it's out in the suburbs, so no lunchtime brews for me.

The points didn't give you prizes, however the kudos is still there.
Plus you have the satisfaction of explaining it to those who didn't understand and who then see you as a mighty Crossword Deity for unscrambling the meaning.
