Oh my god! We actually have two moons and the Government have been covering this up?

A frustrated father told a work colleague: "When I was a youngster, I was disciplined by being sent to my room without supper. But in my son's room, he has his own color TV, computer, games console, cell phone and CD player." "So what do you do?" The father replied: "I send him to my room!"

Because the subject is the world of computers. There are no countries in the world of computers, there are just computers.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

There are no countries other than the US in that article, despite the fact that the US didn't contribute a disproportionate amount to the history of computers.
The article isn't "computerWORLD", it's "computerLOOK-AT-US!", and it's not about the history of computing, it's about the history of the few contributions by the US, and tries to give the impression that that's all there was
It's biased and misleading crap, that leaves out everything in the hope of making one country look better -- y'know, just small things like the fact that the targeting computers they so proudly hold out as a sign of US dominance in computing were designed by the Royal Navy before the battle of Jutland, little stuff like that.
And try getting the point before making comments; it makes communication more effective.

Not to worry, I'm guessing the pork industry an unbiased entity will soon release a comprehensive study which reaches different conclusions. Now where's my frying pan?

A recent survey showed that 100% of respondents did not intend to change their bacon eating habits due to this article as they believed it to be seriously flawed and wildly inaccurate to to insufficient data sampling. My friend saidThe entire group of participants indicated that they considered many of these surveys to be bogus.

People who ate the most processed meats (2.5 slices of bacon or sausage links a day) were 19 percent more likely to develop pancreatic cancer in a recent study. ..and -15% outside of that study? When someone says that "procecessed meats" are bad for you, I tend to believe them. Then again, "processed meat" is a hamburger from your local fast-food vendor. It's pink sludge, or meat that has been glued together.
Heresy.
Bacon-production should be totally transparent. There need be webcams, so we can crowd-spy on the "makers".

Might be a good way to offset some of the obesity we've got going on in this country.
I think they should put down dance pads in people's offices and make 'em dance out their emails. This could not only result in a healthier population but some white people might also learn to dance.
