Hmm, bacon and steak, that would certainly get my vote!

Now you mention it, it also gets mine. Bacon and steak. Now we're talking.
If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

That should be, "make up everything", as per yesterday's version[^] of that joke.

Lunchtime sandwiches made, plated, clingfilmed and in the fridge? Check.
Tea, coffee in cups / cafetiere with sugar substitute / sugar? Check.
Kettle filled and pre-heated? Check.
Ok...

OK. Think I'm about ready to fetch Herself from work and tell her she's due a check up today then.

I both empathise and sympathise with Michelle. Though *they* do a sterling job [allegedly], *they* scare the bejezus out of me and I wouldn't shed a tear if the whole bally lot of *them* where dumped in the ocean amid man-eating and above all hungry sharks.
Actually I might shed a tear, but only for the gold in *their* fillings.
B'tards!
/and an other thing
I have severe munchies, so I am warming some lovely home made winter stew and a loaf of Morrison's finest discount garlic bread.

I just had my lunch and went back to my office and sat down. Felt a tad peckish still so have just finished a whole packet of custard creams washed down with a can of full fat coke.
I feel fine now....although a tad

I have a 2.5 packets of them on reserve and also a packet of chocolate digestives in the fridge. Then there are the 2 packets of ginger nuts, 1 packet Plain Digestives and 2 packets of Abernethy.
Dare say the steward will be in past tonight and re-stock as well. Should see me through the next few days
