A QA question, involving his pirated game includes the "how to run this torrent software" instructions:
Installation:
1.Rehash files before install
2.Disable Anti-Virus before installation
3.Open Setup.exe
4.Follow Instructions
5.Install additional softwares
6.Install Game
7.Play the game using the desktop shortcut
Hmmmm...installations instructions that tell you to disable the anti-virus and install "additional softwares"? I'm tempted to help him on the grounds he is going to get everything he deserves!

SFW btw.
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

It makes perfect sense, to me.
Cleaning an infected machine is a lot of trouble, so if you switch off your anti-virus, you won't know you're infected, and you therefore won't go to all the trouble of cleaning it.

Absolutely.
As programmers, part of our job is to reduce workloads and drudgery. What more thankless task is there than cleaning out malware?

Well, I can think of a few, such as documentation and what I have spent the entire morning on...proving to a customer and trainer that there is not a problem with the application/reports...the problem is with the data/setup!

No problem!
Documentation: Nobody reads it, so a sort of programming language version of Lorem Ipsum should solve that one.
Trainer: I think that Simon Travaglia has one or two solutions for that.
Customer: The new trainer can take care of that.

It's a little known fact that viruses stick to antivirus software, like a magnet of sorts. Turning off your antivirus software is like switching off the magnet, and causes viruses to fall of your computer!

Let me guess, a Joker_RETURNS release? Is it Sims 4?
Probably not as bad as you think. Sure sounds fishy, though.

A quick check on the original question and the link he gives includes "+Repack+by+Joker_RETURNS.html" as part of the file name - I don't look at that stuff so I didn't know what to expect.
A quick google says it's some pirate software posters handle.

friendly hacker says: 2.Disable Anti-Virus before installation
Okay, I've got the antivirus turned off. Now, lemmee see, lemmee see... what is the next thing I should do?
friendly hacker says: 3.Open Setup.exe
Okay, no worries there right? I'll turn the antivirus back on after you've had your way with my computer.

I like the way the hackers have written a setup program and still you have to manually select and infect your computer!

Well, I was on vacation for the last two weeks of the year and just put in my two weeks yesterday. Already have a new gig lined up, less twiddling my thumbs and more doing stuff and solving problems. So I've missed the past couple of weeks of banter but this morning I got something in my email that I felt was important to share...
Grim Fandango has been remastered and is being released via GOG late this month. Available for preorder at just $15. One of the best point and click adventure games made with plenty of humour. It is right up there with Maniac Mansion, Zac McKracken, and Monkey Island for quality and enjoyability in my opinion.
While they didn't add anything new, they did make the graphics more attractive and redid the score with an actual orchestra. $15 for some high quality nostalgia is worth it to me. If you haven't played it, well I feel like you owe it to yourself if you grew up during the age of King's/Space/Hero's Quest and other point and click adventures.
This ends the morning's advert. Please return to your regularly scheduled mindbending.

Now I've got the Monkey Island music stuck in my head.
