5 & 8 sounds like a demolition tag team! I think TV is the way to keep them occupied. Just don't let them near Netflicks I still get blamed for selecting 'Use This For recommedation', it was late I was drunk and 'Hobo With A Shotgun' sounded like a good idea!...

Could have been worse, I guess: remove the "bo" and you're likely to get some very ... unusual ... recommendations.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Long time no see...
I'm at a bit of a loss because I was arbitrarily and randomly fired in the past week, finishing on Jan 2, with no payout of leave entitlement. Still not entirely sure why, I was working hard, doing good things. So I figured I'd drop in on old friends.

Howdy, CG. Am in India on an emergency visit to look after my 97-year old dad who fell ill in October. Working remotely for now and hope to be able to return to T.O before long. That sucks about being let go.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Not sure where you are but not given reason and not paid leave I'd contact the local govt agency (i.e. 'manpower ministry', 'dept of labor') even if to ask their advice
(and hopefully send a good strong 'fark you' back at the people screwing you over.)
If it's really as you've stated, what they are doing is pretty much illegal everywhere. (Even in the case of employee negligence/illegal act or employer going into receivership a reason must be given.)
Sin tack ear lol

Hey Christian, you've certainly been missed around here. Sounds like your (ex-)employer needs a visit from a smart lawyer.
BTW you may like to take a deep breath and a strong drink before venturing into the murky waters of QA these days.

Nice having you back here...
Sorry for that job issue...
I'm sure you'll get something new soon, but anyway, even it could be for good, changes are always scary...

Sucks when this happens, especially when no one phones you to tell you why, at least then you might understand, but just to get an email, its a kick in the guts, especially when you have worked your arse off for the firm and made them LOADS of money.
Still, its just time to move on to a new contract!
Anyway, hows the guitar going? Did you ever learn sweep picking?

Welcome back CG, was thinking of you just the other day wondering how you were fairing.
Sorry to hear you got canned but that usually means another, better door is about to open.
Hope you and yours have a good holiday season.
New version: WinHeist Version 2.2.2 Beta I told my psychiatrist that I was hearing voices in my head. He said you don't have a psychiatrist!

I know that feeling. Been there myself. My wife got the same treatment last year two weeks before Christmas.
Sorry to hear.

Name and shame on Jan 3. Were you in tassie or the US? I can imagine local coding jobs would be rather scarce, good luck in the new year.
These guys are looking for someone Maatsuyker Island: Volunteers wanted [^], pay may be crap though but you should be used to the conditions.

WTF? That's not legal, I thought. If you have vacation time accrued, they need to pay you for it.

All 12,5 million+ of them?
Not the most happy news, but you could see it as an opportunity for something better ...
