For the umpteenth time a recruiter contacted me for a AEM job opening.
For the impteenth time I had to make the folk noting that, for mere coincidence, AEM is just the name of my current company, and I happily live without knowing a bit of the wonderful ADOBE thingy.

Maybe you should learn it. Apparently there is a demand.
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

It is definitely in my list, you know, together with Visual Basic, COBOL, Java and the like.

I had the exact same problem with another TLA (which will remain undefined as it was the name of my company).
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Ever since I worked for the BBC I've been getting offers for porn.

Well, porn usually pays well, so maybe...

But it could prove to be a PITA for him - Depending how much he/her/it is used to it, and his .. uhm.. gender favours.
If he's male maybe a spray can black color will do it

Think yourself lucky. I once got contacted by a recruiter for a job as a car mechanic. I told her I had no experience in that field, she laughed and said "you have a degree in engineering yet know nothing about engines?"
The conversation ended with her thinking I was the dumbass.
|
|
|
|
|
The way I feel about recruiters these days that conversation would have gone on a lot longer and ended with me never, ever having any chance of her trying to place me in any job.

The answer was Extremist...
Severe = extreme
Fog = mist
Sounds like "extreme mist" -> Extremist.
And of course an Extremist could cause problems for law enforcement authorities.
Looks like I'm back up on Monday

Oh ...
I was working on "SMOG" for "severe fog" ...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Good clue though.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I saw someone say a few months back they would program computer whether they got paid or not. This got me thinking, how many IT professionals actually would, so quick poll:
Who would engineer software if they didnt get paid for it, and my opener is, no freaking way!
|
|
|
|

I still do, because I can't work in the industry any more (can't even get close to KPI's). It is much more difficult to do now, but I do it to test myself, and for the feeling of accomplishment when I get something working. Also, keeps me off the streets and out of trouble.
Cheers,
Mick

I would do trying to get paid for it or for personal use - like many mods and add-ons for videogames are (and then evolve in full paid developing jobs).
