Cable went down last night. Was still down this morning. Called Comcast, said "they are working on it. Approximate up time 0958. For more information, go to comcast.com". Huh?
If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

See, that's why you need Google Translate

Good that I speak all 3 languages...
I try to take it on the fun side, but I am pretty pissed on the same time.
I can't stop thinking that this is taking the "I know what you want/need (even better than you)" to a new (and dangerous) level.

Yeah, well, I'm sure I wouldn't find too funny if it was happening to me.

Do ventriloquists keep parrots as pets?

Yes, and they hold parakeets on their laps.

you get something similar.
I finally decided to upgrade my monitor situation. I had my main PC with a 24 inch monitor and my Linux play machine with a 17 in monitor and the 17 in monitior stopped working.
So my son-in-law stopped by and I asked him to connect a new 24 in monitor I bought to the linux box and use the secondary interface to expand the screen of my main PC.
So after finding all the cables and corresponding HDMI plugs, I ended up using the new monitor as the primary for my main box and using my old monitor switchable between the main box sand the Linux box.It turns out the new monitor couldn't be switchedbetween inputs, while my old monitor could!
So now I'm happy. Most f the time, I use my main Windows box with 2 24 inch monitors, but I can switch, so that I can use that PC with one monitor and my Linux box with the other monitor.
