He had a good excuse with the gray in the last episode. That shoeshine black is a bit too much.

Yeah, Spiner looked like he could've used a few more coats of paint.
If they really wanted to spend the money on that sort of thing, I'm sure could've made him look a lot younger. I'm thinking specifically one of the X-Men movies, where they rather convincingly took decades off of both Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. But, I guess they don't have a movie budget...or they just decided it didn't matter much.

The Expanse Season 4 - Official Teaser | Prime Video - YouTube[^]
Looking Good! Are they going to release it in "binge" mode or "dammit I want the next episode now" mode? Looks like "binge mode", but I'm not sure which is worse ...

Like a lot of movies, I hope the trailer isn't the best thing about it.
I'm also hoping Amazon can better produce a sci-fi TV show than Syfy, although Syfy sets a pretty low bar, which is why I couldn't get into the first three seasons no matter how hard I tried. It always left me with the same "I'm watching a cheap TV production" feeling I always get when watching some sci-fi series made in Canada like Andromeda, Continuum, Helix, Orphan Black and countless others.
Some of these could actually have been good (I'm thinking in particular of Orphan Black) but the most common fault I frequently find in series like these are the annoyingly repetitive background soundtrack, which can have whole series unwatchable. I don't know why, but I notice these in sci-fi series a lot more than any other genre.

Drinking several glasses of wodka before watching those series helps a lot

Incidentally, you'd think some of those in charge of some of the series I've mentioned were drunk themselves.

I'll vote for binge mode, watch it all when I'm ready.
In fact just yesterday (Sat) I did Killjoys last season.
non binge releases I'll wait till all eps are in (if it's a proper continuing series, Room 104 for instance I'll watch 1 at a time.)
Binge mode only minor hassle is skipping over the "last time on ..."

Binge mode major hassle: After last episode you realize you have two years to wait before your next fix ...

ahh, I treat many like a final, they drop so quickly these days - often the good ones before complete
(seems most audience like the simple stuff, hawaii 5-0, CSI:your-city-here)
hoping they finish Mr. Mercedes in S3 and Man in the High Castle in S4
- MM's loosing audience, and apparently HC is "too expensive" and S4 almost didn't happen
If it's just to fill in time there's always the marvel series': same story different hero(s)
or if you really have trouble remembering things: Gold Rush - same story, sometimes a different dog.

Awesome - I binge watched the first 3 seasons, quite enjoyed the storyline and characters.

The books are well worth reading as well - they cover the same story, pretty much but in a different order (The TV series pulled some characters forward and such like). The Expanse really shows what can be achieved when someone who cares about the story makes the TV series ...

Sad indeed.
I saw a documentary about him a few months ago called "Beware of Mr. Baker", turns out he was even more of an ornery cuss than I thought, but he did do some great work.

He definitely had talent, loved Cream and Blind Faith!

Funny that no pics, so I had to use my imagination. Also funny that this is mentioned as an 'instructable' for teachers.
btw, are you still traveling or back in jax? (haven't seen any pics in the 'where are you' forum.)

Yet another site that no longer works with IE for no good reason. I knew something was missing, so I retried with Chrome...and sure enough, the images load.
