I'm reminded of Jim Jones, David Koresh, Heaven's Gate, Simon Says.
It was only in wine that he laid down no limit for himself, but he did not allow himself to be confused by it.

Koresh may have been a nutcase, but unlike the others, he and his followers were murdered by state goons.

That concept, itself, fall into the category of conspiracy theories:
Checking in wikipedia:
Quote: the FBI resorted to pumping CS gas into the compound with the aid of an M728 Combat Engineer Vehicle, which was equipped with a battering ram. In the course of the advance, the Mount Carmel Center caught fire under circumstances that are still disputed today. Barricaded inside the building, 79 Branch Davidians perished in the ensuing blaze; 21 of these victims were children under the age of 16.
According to the FBI, Steve Schneider, Koresh's right-hand man, who "probably realized that he was dealing with a fraud," shot and killed Koresh and then committed suicide with the same gun. A second account gave a totally different story: Koresh, then 33, died of a gunshot wound to the head during the course of the fire. No one knows who killed him or if he killed himself. The medical examiner reported 20 people, including five children under the age of 14, had been shot, and a three-year-old had been stabbed in the chest.
In fact, who that survived, inside or out, knows how the fire started? I for one, taking the stabbed child as a rather blatant hint, that the fire was his own flavor of Kool Aid. Supporting this is the lifestyle that was accepted by his followers - zombies ready to obey their messiah. Any who survived from inside the compound are (if they even really saw) of obvious questionable reliability.
But - then - how will we ever really know?

We'll probably never know, and it was probably gross criminal negliglence, not murder. But after tales of Iraqis yanking babies out of incubators and building WMDs, I'll fade the official explanation. It's almost like "We had to destroy the village to save it."

It's all very confusing and the change in administration in the US doesn't help.
Clearly, if I have the Oxford/Astrazeneca jab, then I know it will be Boris tracking my movements and controlling my thoughts. That would be okay as I might get some rather interesting ones, should I happen to see an attractive lady.
However, if I get the Pfizer/BioNtech, then will I be controlled by Trump (who may have stolen the password), Biden, Angela Merkel or Bill Gates ("Mind Control 10 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Contact your nation's administrator.")
And do both jabs required the same thickness of foil hat?

I know - and the saddest bit is that they are showing the "circuit diagram" for the nanotech online.
Which is you look at it is the wiring diagram for a guitar waa-waa pedal ...
The stupid bit is that if we had that kind of tech (tracking devices that needed no recharge, were so cheap you could randomly implant them in anything, trackable from significant range) everything we own would be already tagged by insurance companies, supermarkets, and police forces; and crime would be solved almost before it happened ... Which kinda proves it's a load of bollocks, even if the laws of physics didn't!

I actually had to explain this to someone at work who isn't totally crazy, but susceptible to believe anything she sees on the internet/Facebook.
I told her we're a bunch of bunglers who can't even write decent software on a desktop computer, let alone on nano devices.
The constant internet connection and sheer amount of data such a device would generate would quickly crash the bugger and render it useless, let alone the automated updates (which obviously can't be delayed)
Luckily, she's just as quick to believe me as the internet...
Although apparently it is possible, just not on such scale, but hospitals are already experimenting with it (I didn't tell her that though).
I've had to debunk some other crazy stuff as well.
She's recently cleared her cookies and now she doesn't get such nonsense on her timeline anymore

My new album was released today. TDIS "Bound To Be" Available at
Spotify, Amazon, Bandcamp[^]
and Apple Music, iTunes, Instagram/Facebook, TikTok/Resso, Google Play/YouTube (look for TOPIC: TDIS"), Soundtrack by Twitch, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, NetEase, Tencent, Triller, MediaNet
EDIT: I removed the direct links to all but Bandcamp (since I know you can listen for free). I've always been under the impression that if you have a subscription to the other services, you don't have to pay extra beyond your monthly subscription. Not true?

I don't think this is the place to sell your song - if you were a "new account" the post would have been removed as SPAM.
It's one thing when you put it up as just an announcement - but you also gave where it could be purchased - really, I'll have to think a bit longer before (at least I) pull the SPAM trigger.

People: *Share something that they've put a lot of effort into and are proud of*
Other people: SPAM!!!!
I mean, the Bandcamp link is free as is a Spotify account.

GenJerDan offered a bit more than that and now shares with us the fruits of his labor.
I can applaude his ventures into the ambient music space and wish him the best of luck with future endeavors and hope to see more of it right here on CP!

The AMAZON link isn't free - I clicked it first and don't say any logic for clicking all three if they (presumably) point to the same content.
Showing his efforts would be "bandcamp" . . . hawking his wares, as in SPAM, is Amazon.

I agree that the links to sell places should be removed.
Spotify wanted to force me to register, which I didn't
Amazon was giving only 30 sec pre-listen and the selling option
But the third one is letting me listen the full tracks just like that for free, (has the option for sell, but only an option) in my opinion that one could remain.

Well - I happened to click Amazon first - and based upon your post he should edit (and delete) the others: certainly the amazon link.

Thanks - I knew it was worth the wait rather than giving it the screw (not that I'm important enough around here to have much impact). Probably the excitement of the moment for you - which I can understand.
Now I'll click the bandcamp link and give a few a listen.
[EDIT]
So, I ran a few (working - can't be that thorough) and found them to reminiscent/suggestive of one my/Mrs Wife's favorite background albums (Latitude 40℃ North). Will come back to this when I can let a few run full length. Also, changing my thumbs-down now that it's been fixed.

Can't win. I said I had an app in the store ... I was told that without a link it was "B.S.".
I didn't post a link initially simply because I anticipated this "B.S.".
