Thanks very much I like that Lenovo what a pity about the supply issue.
Your set-up is quite similar to my application, touchscreen, serial comms to the machine and Ethernet for firmware updates so your advice is spot on for me.

I use a fanless ITX board with onboard processor with Win10 for Excel development and application maintaining: 4x2GHz and 8GB Ram with a used SSD. To keep it cheap I use a pico power supply - consider how much power you need. Here the sources from my notes (2019):
board 4x2,08GHz 50€
https:
+ 8GB DDR3 53€
https:
+ Pico 28€
https:
+ externes 12V Netzteil (60W) 8,39€

No, the closest I've got is UKULELE but that doesn't really fit ... and even well played they are worse than a badly played guitar!

I got away with naming our first cat "Microwave the cat in orange sauce" because it annoyed the neighbours and Herself was up for that.
But the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th were all Herself: Killashandra, Polgara, and Beldin. There are no prizes for guessing what books she was reading at the time.
The 5th came with a name: Bill.
The current is Dij because it was "short" for "Digital" - as a kitten he was either ON (and doing a Wall of Death round the room) or OFF (and you could have plucked all his fur out and he wouldn't have moved a muscle).
An ex boss was told in no uncertain terms that no computing terms were allowed for his dog's name: "Pip" was thought to be fine until a year later SWMBO discovered it was short for "Peripheral Interchange Program". Too late to change by then ...
Friends have had pets called "Glitch" and "Cookie" which have sneaked in under the radar.
But I never got away with "Five" (from "CAT 5") or "Script" from "Script Kitty".
What about you? Any Computer / software / tech related pets?

My (programmer nerd) son's cat is pixel .
I've done sort of the opposite and named devices after pets.
Software rusts. Simon Stephenson, ca 1994. So does this signature. me, 2012

My Pixel (cat) is named after Heinlein's The Cat Who Walks Through Walls since she has a remarkable talent for suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
Be wary of strong drink. It can make you shoot at tax collectors - and miss.

I name my cats after characters from books, movies and games.
My first one, when I was five years old, was Siepie, from the Dutch children's book Jip en Janneke[^].
After that, which is a 20+ year leap, comes Cid, who is still my parent's cat, and comes from the Final Fantasy series (but I based him on FFVII)[^].
After that I've had Nika, which was her name given to her by the shelter and which I kept because she listened to it.
Now I have Jiji, from Kiki's Delivery Service[^].
Not sure what the next one will be yet, but I've always liked Fizzgig from The Dark Crystal[^]

He didn't listen to his name, but would come running when I praised him. "Goedzo", meaning "well done".

Black cat, and it didn't play nice with the other cat, nor their toddler. He would attack out of nowhere.
No small kids here, his behaviour changed in a week. Became affectionate instead of aggressive. He made friends with two dogs, but doesn't allow other cats in the yard.

I always have named cats after their predominant feature. I have had Zingiberaceae, Gannet and Vincent, for instance. I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to discern the feature that gave rise to the name.
