People who have - and always had - think a lot of time that our society is well designed and for that, only people who do not accept the boundaries of the society got into troubles, like debt and become homeless...
The truth is that we have a lot to fix...

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

It has been my personal experience that not all homeless people are worthless.
I have found MANY to be compassionate, thoughtful, and for some, to be quite bright, despite having a few screws loose upstairs.
Thanks for posting.

The first line of the report pisses me off:
"This video proves that a person's integrity goes far beyond what meets the eye."
Integrity?
If I see a homeless guy, I don't question his integrity; I see a person who has fallen on hard times -- and that all too often happens to people who have too much integrity.
If I see a fat f'k in a suit that costs enough to feed a family for a year walking out of an overly expensive restaurant and straight into the back door of a bank, it's his integrity I question.
If I see a bleached-haired wannabe idiot going around setting traps to make other people look like arseholes, it's his integrity I question.
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!

Hello,
Sorry if my question looks dumb.I am developing a VB.NET application and running the code in IIS7. I have a device that understand Java code only, and I wonder if I can communicate with this device using Java code from IIS7 or not. If yes, where do I find more details on this subject.

Java, hmmm sounds hot!
Anyways, programming related questions are not allowed here brother. You need to be asking such questions at Quick Answers[^] tab, that is where you will get some help.

Congratulations!
You will probably end up with a couple of boxes you haven't got round to emptying yet - I still have some, and I last moved house in 2004...

Not to steal your fire, but I still have a box or two since our move to the USA from South Africa 18 years ago!

I keep thinking "there can't be anything in there I need, if I haven't unpacked it yet."
I guess I'm just a hoarder at heart

To hoard or not to hoard! We all hoard to a varying degree. One of the things that determine a happy marriage is to agree with your spouse on a hoarding policy in your house?

Just agree with her on everything, it saves a lot of arguments (that you will lose anyway, even when you are right )

I recall a friend of mine thought something similar (about a decade ago, so recent living memory) and dutifully pitched the unpacked box out.
She realised her error a few weeks later when she went to find some heirloom jewellery that had belonged to her mother - about $65000 worth. At that point, it dawned on her that it hadn't been unpacked, and was in the box she had thrown out.
Gone. FOREVER.
