You should try KLM.
Not just dirty, poorly-equipped, nasty planes, but Dutch customer service, too.
They improve immensely when they play swapsies with Singapore airlines -- who won't even allow Dutch staff on the planes, because they're worried they'll upset the customers.

It does say: "Hundreds of people were evacuated and there are no reports of any casualties."
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Amazing given the monstrosity of the fire, and size of the building.
Deft evacuation.

I was going to say "good design of the building too" - but since bits caught fire really easily and fell off going all over the place, I don't think it counts!

That was my (not the first) thought too.

It was my first thought as I had to re-read the sentence to see if it said the tower turned into a torch or if the tower was actually called torch
Aside from the irony there's nothing funny about it, of course.

Agree.
Coming to the word 'Torch', in India (at least the southern part), we usually call a 'flashlight' as a 'torch'. Only later in life I got to know that the word 'torch' means a flame, like the Olympic flame.
[In fact, during a visit to the US, I went to a small convenience store, and asked for 'torch'. The shop guy gave a puzzled look, since I felt (he thought that) I didn't look like out to kill someone. Then, my Indian friend said 'flashlight', and that settled things].

I was so tempted to post "The Torch is Torched" here, but I refrained. Until now.

WTF?[^]
Really? How stupid is this person?
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

What's stupid?
She's right. It's ridiculous to tell deer to cross at dangerous places in the road. They don't understand traffic and cars, and there's no deer equivalent of the Darth Vader Green Gross Man to instruct them -- and even if there were, they don't watch TV, so they wouldn't see him.
While we're at it, we should get the weathermen to change what they do with all these hurricanes and tornados -- why the Hell do they keep sending them where people live?
Now, that is stupid!

She is absolutely correct! Instead of "Deer Crossing" the sign should read "No Deer Crossing" and it should be turned to face oncoming deer, so they can clearly see it.

I retain enough optimism in humanity that I would like to think that this was a joke posting.

In evolution, deer came before man (I think!).
So, when the deer first came across humans, they would have put the 'Humans Crossing' sign somewhere, which was in 'deer-sign-language'.
Now, the times have switched.

There is a follow-up link in YouTube where she is reunited with the hosts of the radio show. What comes across is how hard it's been on her since this was posted. She made a mistake and now she's the butt of the joke. She hoped it would die down once people stopped sharing the link. I feel sorry for her. At one stage or another, we have all said something stupid. It's unfortunate for her that she said it when YouTube was around.

Had I drunk an entire bottle of whiskey when I was six years old, it would still have been a push to get me to say something that stupid.
I'll bet she has kids and "looks after" pets, too.
And she has the right to vote.
