Three hours or so? Before the four hour deadline, anyway.
But...there are all the others who will get it!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Without gin?! Nagy wouldn't go nowhere, for sure not as far as Troy...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

It amazes me how I am getting dumber and dumber these days. I can't even think of any (super?) hero with those letters.
You have just been Sharapova'd.

Given last week's announcement regarding Xamarin and an upcoming project that requires Android, I decided to download and install VS 2015 CE. I downloaded the iso since I will also put it on a laptop. Currently, I am about an hour into the installation on my main development machine showing less than a third total progress. I've never had an installation of anything take near this long! I sure hope it's worth the wait! At least the cost is acceptable!

I'm downloading it too (Enterprise Edition) because we're just about to start upgrading our SSIS 2012 packages for SQL Server 2014. I hope it works...

The VS2015CE install took me about thirty minutes. On my laptop.

You should get yourself a new laptop! Just saying!

I have a new laptop, but what does that have to do with it?

I thought it was an old slow one, because it doesn't normally take that long. My bad!

So Facebook is recommending me some pages to like because other people liked them.
It's showing me music as I am on a music page.
Joy Division, Carcass, My Bloody Valentine, Check out more places in Paris.
Sorry, what? More places in Paris? What has that got anything to do with... Oh never mind

So ... Facebook?
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!
|
|
|

I've come to the conclusion that I'll never have to create a Facebook account, if only because I'm apparently already surrounded by more people who insist on telling me what they saw on Facebook than I'd ever care to know. Which is not at all.

It is quite useful to have an account ... in a false name, of course ... to sign in to various things on t'interwebs but there;s never any need to actually visit, I agree.

If a site requires me to sign in even just to view something in read-only mode, I can guarantee I will visit it exactly once.
So far nobody's convinced me I've been missing much.

Twice. The first and the last time.

The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

I wouldn't want hundreds of friends on Facebook any more than I'd want that many IRL.
