Yes, a terrible shame though going by his chain-smoking habit on stage, he has done very well to make it this far. He even had the experience of reading his own obituary as the Telegraph reported him dead about 10 years ago.
I saw him many times with Fairport Convention and playing as a folk duo with both Simon Nicol and Martin Carthy.
An excellent musician, sadly missed.

Great musician, sad indeed.

Buncha wimps! It's been raining for one week, and they all start getting their tootsies damp - try living in Wales!
Seriously, it's a problem and I do feel sorry for 'em. Except Parisian waiters of course.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

The 8th picture here[^]
How do the French drive around? From what I can tell of the signage, Cambronne is to the left, Trocadero Concorde is to the right, but you can't make a left turn or a right turn, in fact, the middle sign seems to indicate that you can't go forwards or backwards, and who knows what the first sign with the X means.

Google Maps[^]
(I'm no expert on french road signage)
I assume the no right turn and no left turn is to prevent crossing (one is blurred) ?
The crossed blue circle is no-parking (and the up/down arrows indicate that it applies before and after the sign)
I'd rather be phishing!

Wow, how did you find that?
Makes me laugh at the caption in my original post "street posts are almost completely submerged" or something like that. I was thinking, wow, those signs must be really high then. Not!

This signals that priority has to be given to vehicles which come from the right.

Ads are good for allowing free content, but they've gotten too aggressive. If ads were simply images that load somewhere on the side of the screen I'd be okay, but they get in your face with their cheap tactics and make me hate them more.
