The Longest Day (1962) - Kenneth More: Capt. Colin Maud

Slightly off topic but related to your quote:
50+ years ago in college, my roommate who was in mechanical engineering, said one of his professors advised the class that, when designing machinery for factory floors, be sure to consider the BFH effect. The BFH effect, you ask? That's when a guy on the factory floor decides to adjust the machine with a Big Effing Hammer.

It would probably make him feel good then that we recently had an incident where the guy missed with his BFH and hit himself. (no worries, just a bruise btw)

"I'm going to fight for peace, justice and The American Way". Superman - the movie.
I was present at the first showing of Superman in Trondheim, Norway. This line was met with a unison roar of laughter from an audience of 1200, followed by a stomp clap that drowned the next few spoken lines.

I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend.
Thanks,
