SO here a small poll about the tools you use to archive and version project management documents. We all have source control for source code, but what are you using for other "normal" documents such as open point lists, schedules, customer requirements, etc... ?

SharePoint. Stick it in and forget about it.
Then upgrade and...
[2 days later when it sort of mostly works and has almost all of the documents back again] ...find that the ACL has been trashed so no one can open it anyway.

items used to distract the customer from the fact the software isn't ready,
later also used to persuade the customer the software is done even though it's not what they want.

We use SVN for documentation and other life cycle data. We've only been using it for about a year but so far it seems to do what we need it to. One draw back is the inability to share documents in different projects and branches. We built our own in-house client to interface with.

It's a conspiracy by Big Bacon to make you crave it and then buy more.
If you want to talk about "pointless"...may I introduce you to ?

Yeah - because they need to work at it to make you want more bacon.
