I even know the scene, it's when a very drunk Nagy Vilmos Gentleman tries to get a ride in Carry on... Cabbie.

Dalek vs Taxman VII?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

They have: nine episodes have been found in Nigeria, and cleaned up for broadcast. "The web of time" & "Enemy of the planet" starting Patrick Troughton

English doesn't borrow from other languages.
English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

Hey, I remember watching the one with the yetis and the gunk in the tube!
Troughton was the best Doctor until Eccleston really defined the character.

Nice work, Bryce. Last time I did that I got laid off for lack of anything more to do. Go figure...

You just described how the IT industry works!
Now if you'll excuse me, I've a lot of work to do which I anticipate will go past the drop-dead due date. And for a good reason.

you know sometimes...but heres a friday afternoon story.
I was working in an office where a large web servcies project was being developed. It was under budget ahead of schedule. A new manager came in, saw this and deemed it a "risk".
He then moved the highly regarded lead technical bloke off (lets call him "Mr Respected"), hired a new lead technical chap and a few more programmers.
Can anyone guess what happened? Yes indeedy.
It lagged, got delayed and all messed up.
It was all not cool and the new lead technical chap - lets call him "Mr No mates" said to me that he didn't care and he would just blame Mr Respected when the wash out came.
So I'm mates with Mr Respected. and i filled him in on this titbit and he was able to protect his cred' accordingly.
The long and the short of it was that the project was late, over budget and incomplete. Ahh lets not forget the angry customer.
Mr Respected remained (eventually left a few years later), Mr No Mates was canned shortly thereafter.
The manager responsible for the mess? Just bounced around the org until he eventually left for another company.
Now drink your milk and go to bed kiddies.

Are you sure that's the right link? Its a $2500au laptop with a 1080P resolution...

well, 256SSD + 1TB HDD, 16GB of RAM, i7, GeForce GTX770 with 3GB of RAM
not bad!
I am saddened by the screen definition too... I want more pixels!!!
(of note a friend remarked the wifi is weak too, it's 802.11b, 802.11ac would be way better!!)
I have seen something that good at that price in a laptop very often...
But please, prove me wrong! I want to see more models!!!
BTW $2500 I am happy to pay to replace my desktop machine! with a laptop finally acceptable!

It has 802.11n, which is 54mb/s (640MBit/s), unless you are doing a lot of network file transfers or have lightning fast internet (internet speed > network speed) then you are probably just fine with N.

5kg.
Oh. My. God.
(and they are STILL sticking to 802.11n. Where's the ac??)

yeah, it's a little heavy.
I'm just looking for a laptop which can replace my desktop without regret with the added benefit of being more carryable! ^^
Anyhow, now I finally found one, I'll wait 1 or 2 years to see if there are any progress! ^^
