Sounds Like (Agile) Team Spirit
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Woulda been a bit more on point if they'd called it "Hello World!".

Quote: why
It's a question that's been asked a lot in the past. The answer is that the word "why" is derived from a Latin word that means "how" or "why not".
Trying a few things, like "how do I rollback a migration" I was actually impressed.

Cool, once I figured out how to use it, I got three results on a query, one which was an *answer to a question I asked here a few weeks ago. * More a suggestion than an answer. It seems that I have them stumped!
Still though, this looks like a nice service.

We compared data from over a dozen countries where software engineering is growing and thriving. Ignoring cost-of-living, of course.

love me some Averages abuse.
Switzerland almost double rest of Europe, 🤔 I wonder if skewed by bank software development.
US vs most of western Europe, uhm not much surprise.
Israel, well if watching linus tech tips anything to go by, I had no clue how much Intel and other fab manufactures have setup in Israel, so average skewing might be a factor.
I don't understand Normal Distribution, but doesn't mean it not helpful sometimes.

So, yet another Software thing I'm below average in.

Exactly that's the point.
Long ago, 1 Deutsche Mark and 1 Swiss Franc had about equal buying power in their respective countries. But you had to pay more than 1 Deutsche Mark for 1 Swiss Franc. Later, the Euro was introduced at 2 Deutsche Mark for 1 Euro. Currently, 1 Swiss Franc costs about 1 Euro...
Looking thru other countries mentioned in the list, Argentina could be great value, while Japan is sh*t for sure.

An NPM supply-chain attack dating back to December 2021 used dozens of malicious NPM modules containing obfuscated Javascript code to compromise hundreds of downstream desktop apps and websites. I thought we were supposed to be having supply-chain shortages?

DoD puts money behind bug bounty program after reward-free pilot In tomorrow's news - US government goes bankrupt
Or at least the DoD
|
|
|
|
|
So now the US government can go after bug reporters by claiming that they attempted to break in to the DoD's systems for money?

max 5,000$ for 7 days, or pre existing exploits that anyone might know.
That is very low ball, and wont will only be attracting things people might be able to get the $500 for.
well cheaper then spending 500,000$ for a months worth for pen test company.

I was once asked by a friend of mine back in the 1990's why there were so many programming languages. Because the new one will solve* all** of the problems of the old ones
* Not even close
** A few? One or two?
