From which we deduce that you have a floppy-drive. I'm going to guess that it's booting to the harddisk without even trying the floppy.

Which brings you indeed to the BIOS-settings, which will vary depending on your brand. You can usually enter the BIOS by hitting the DEL key a few times, just before the PC tries to boot. There should be some entry that defines in what order to "try" the bootdevices.

That won't repair your PC btw, it would only allow you to boot again. From there-on, you'd still have to repair the system.

An alternative option would be to create a CD that you can boot from. There are various Live-CD's available for download, complete with virusscanners Smile | :)
