Hey Experts
I have used a lot of time finding the best solution on how to build a widget, like the one from Yahoo widget engine in C#.
The problem is the transparent look, where for example the background can be round and with a drop shadow. I have tried a few tutorial, but they result in a lot of aliasing.
The result i would like is like the picture on the following link:

I totally new to C#, but can I already loves it, so I hope somebody can produce me a little sample application.

Not sure what you want here - to create web controls, windows controls, or what ? I presume you have a background in other programming languages ?

No I just want to transform the widget to C#-language instead of using the widget engine. I have just made a background with dropshadow in photoshop. 1. You can create a third table and insert the required data in that table and then bind the datasource to that table.
2. Or you can write a store procedure which will just get those data and return select.

You can create a third data table (dt3) at runtime in the same dataset (ds), populate it with the fields from the two data tables(dt1 and dt2) and then finally bind this data table with the grid view using its data source property as shown below (but this solution is effective only if there will be same number and type of fields everytime you create and populate a new data table):
dataGridView1.DataSource=ds.Tables["dt3"];
This should solve your problem

Hi, fellows!
When I was trying the solutions you recommended to me, I found a third way to solve my problem (and I think it work so good).
1. I created a DataGridView and I chose as Data Source, the Binding Source of the first table.
2. I added unbound columns to the DataGridView according to the second table.
3. I added a handler for DataBindingComplete event of the DataGridView.
4. I added the following code in that handler in order to fill the cells corresponding to the second table:

{<br />
int addressId = (int)listRow.Cells[2].Value;<br />
<br />
CompaniesDataSet.AddressesRow addressRow = companiesDataSet.Addresses.FindByAddressId(addressId);<br />
listRow.Cells[4].Value = addressRow.Address;<br />
listRow.Cells[5].Value = addressRow.City;<br />
listRow.Cells[6].Value = addressRow.ZIPCode;<br />
listRow.Cells[7].Value = addressRow.State;<br />
}<br />

Looking at SysInternal's process explorer, I need to do something similar--get the % CPU time spent on a thread and the thread name (not owned by me).
So, how does one do that?
A: get the name of a thread on a process that isn't mine
B: get the thread CPU utilization
And yes, I've done some googling to find the answers and haven't come up with anything. Maybe I'm having a bad google day.

Hi Marc,
I once was looking for thread names, but to no avail.
My prime concern was giving my own threads a name, to ease debugging.
The kernel clearly holds a name for each thread, but almost all threads dont set
their name. Take a look with some tool (e.g. TaskInfo) and you will notice most
threads are called "Thread".
But any positive reply you get will interest me too !
