I believe that the easiest way is to just throw an exception and catch it.

I have been trying to access frames with webBrowser document.
I always get the system telling me I don't have access. I read up on the net and it is a known issue due to security.
Has anyone ever achieved this?

Hi All!
i am trying to use the ContextMenu control, and i do know how handle a click on it, i mean if you go the Form you can only handle popup event.
i tried to add to one menu item a click hasndler but it does not go in to the function that i created, can some one tell me how can i tell if the MenuItem in the ContextMenu was clicked and how can i handle it.

Proper steps are:
1) Click on one menu item
2) Go to the event tab on the property panel
3) Double click on the click event; an event and handler shall be added
4) Find the handler function and fill in the function body with your logic

That is exectlly the problem, i see there only the popup event and not click event or select event and i do not know why??????

I have two DataGridViews side by side with the same number of rows and columns. They connect to untyped DataSets. When I select a specific sell in the left DataGridView, I want the same cell to be selected in the right DataGridView. How do I go about doing that?

It also the same. You can take your java source code and a little bit changes then you can compile it using C#. The language is almost the same.

I know it is very similar but the thing is there are functions in java that i used that are not present in c# also i am not an expert in c# so for example i don't know how to represent the car as a moving object on the screen...

Windows Form in C# appears to be equivalent to Frame in Java.

If you create a new Windows Form, then use the event Paint.
private void Form1_Paint(object sender, PaintEventArgs e)

Then write your code in this method. For example :

I am working on a project
i have created 3 tiers:
presentation layer
datalinklayer
business logiclayer
i have a dropdownlist named Category_List resides in my login screen.I want to dynamically add the items to it .so i created a table called type which has a single field called Category.
now i want to bind my backend sql server with my application.
i am able to do it staight away in my asp.net application but what i want is that the connection string should be in a class file ,while the page loads the method that contains the connection string should be called and the items must get filled in my Dropdownlist.
iam unable to do it inthe class file,pl help me in doing so with helpof an example.

What problem do you have in writing a class file? Would you please elaborate this?
Just add one class file in your web application, and define all data access functions in it.
Also you can define a function in the class that will dynamically fill the dropdown list by passing it as a parameter by reference.

I have a date in the form of a string, in the American format, MM/DD/YYYY. How can I create a DateTime object from this string, irrespective of the current culture?
In other words, even if the current culture is French, the incoming string 11/03/2005 should be interpreted as Nov 03, 2005. I want to do this without changing the current culture.
I tried doing
DateTime suspDt = Convert.ToDateTime(strDate, new CultureInfo("en-US")); but that didn't work.
