I don't know if this is the right board for this, if not I'm sure someone will tell me.
I am developing a C#.NET application for the market, which will be sold over the internet by making a trial version (with limits on facilities and use time) available free, and providing an unlocking mechanism on receipt of payment. All standard stuff - except I've never done it before.
Can anyone recommend a good guide to how to do this, or even a developers' toolkit for generating/recognising keys and all that stuff.

I want to add my exe file shortcut to User's Desktop and User's program Menu in my Setup and Deployment Project. When I add this exe file that folders directly , my program can not be run. I think that program need DLL files. How can I solve this problem? So how can I add icon my exe file in Setup Project? Thank you for your answers....

when u add project output in application folder in setup & deployment
project u will see primary ouput from project name(Active) in application
folder,so right click on this item u will find create shortcut of primary output
option,on selecting it u will see shortcut of this primary output
and then u can move this shortcut to user's desktop folder and
user's programs menu folder

hi all,
i have a few textboxes and a datagridview.
SelectionMode is 'FullRowSelect'. when the selected row changes, i want to change the textboxes.texts to change according to the data in datagridview.
i have a code like this :
txtKullanici.Text = dataGridView3.Rows[dataGridView3.SelectedRows.Count -1 ].Cells[0].Value.ToString();
txtSifre.Text = dataGridView3.Rows[dataGridView3.SelectedRows.Count -1 ].Cells[1].Value.ToString();

in which event should i put these codes ?

Never worked with DataGridView, but after a quick glance at the docs I would say SelectionChanged sounds suitable.

The best way is to write a stored procedure and call it with the values from your controls.
What's the database ? Have you looked on the site for examples ( in the articles section ) ? What about msdn ? You can use google to search msdn by putting site:msdn.microsoft.com at the end

Hi there,
On a article posted related to Treelistview control(http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/treelistview.asp) .In this example if i enable the checkbox property, all Items in this control display checkbox near to them .
How can i customise this control so that only last leaf node or any particular node display the checkboxes all other nodes will not display the checkboxes.
can some one send me example so get the same functionality
