put a int to count, call the PrintDocument_Print() event until you counter reach to 0. Do this work when your all pages finished, or if you do not want Collate, then call and decrease counter on every print but this time you will need to set again the actual value to counter
hope it will help

How do you add two hex values in c# to give a resulting hex value?
|
|
|
|
|
There is no such thing as a 'hex value'. There's just a number. If you have the number as a string, you need to convert it to an int. Once you add them, you need to convert to a string in order to force a format, be it hex, or whatever.
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/recipes/hexencoding.aspx[^] is a good place to start.

when converted the value to a string its "27486520736169642c646f20796f752077616e7420746f20706179202431303f27".
I then tried converting it to an Integer, but i get an error saying that "the value is too big or too smaill to convert to Int64"

Since this "value" is a 264 bit number, it's MUCH larger than a 32-bit Integer or a 64-bit Integer can hold. The only data type that can represent this number is the Decimal type. But, there's a problem. The Convert methods won't convert a hexadecimal string this large to a any data types that can hold it.
You'll need a large number processing library to do this, such as this one[^], found right here on CP.

What do you mean you are unable to do it? A context menu is (from what I can tell) exactly what you want. What happens/or doesn't happen with your context menu? Some relevant code snippets would help.

This is obviously not the actual error message.
Try reading here[^], focusing on the section on error messages.

How are you testing it, are you consuming it in code or just firing it up from internet explorer and boshing numbers in?

Rob Philpott.

You actually have to write some code to exercise the methods. The ASMX test page only works in localhost - this is a security measure so that people can't actually screw up your environment.

hi,
i have put a div tag in Datalist. I want to access this div tag to modify its style when a (linkbutton) control in datalist is clicked.
I have added the javascript onclick attributes to linkbutton control at itemdatabound of datalist, but when the js function is called the document.getelementbyid("divName") returns the empty string.
i guess the problem is because the divName is getting repeated within the datalist.....
Please help.. let me know if more information is reqd.
Thanks,
aditya

Are you sure the right div name is being written into your page ? Yeah, I suspect you need to create unique names and pass them through on the function you call.
You should have asked this in the ASP.NEt forum

the code looks like this..
........ ....
Probably this divId is same for all the items created in the datalist.
Can you please help to automatically generate unique names?

excuse me ?
One obvious way to make the div Ids unique is to append the row number or some other unique Id from your data source to the div name.

i am sorry but the site filtered the code i had put.......
now i found that the divid.style.top returns empty string unless some top attribute is specified before calling this as shown in the following code snippet.
I am simply keeping the div tags and i dont know what would be its top postion... however based on its top value i want to set some other div element's value.
My question now asks how to find the top position of a div in a page?
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript"><br />
function executeJS()<br />
{<br />
<br />
alert("child: " + (document.getElementById("divid")).style.top + " parent: " +(document.getElementById("parent")).style.top );<br />
}<br />
</script><br />
<br />
<div id="parent" style="position: fixed; top:220px "><br />
<div id="divid" runat="server" visible="true" style="position: absolute; top: 30px;"><br />
hello</div><br />
<a onclick="executeJS()">click here</a></div>
