What is Diffgram? How it is used ?
Regards,
LEE
|
|
|
|
|
A DiffGram is an XML format that is used to identify current and original versions of data elements. Since the DataSet uses XML format to store and transfer data, it also use DiffGrams to keep track of the original data and the current data. When a DataSet is written as a DiffGram, not only a DiffGram stores original and current data, it also stores row versions, error information, and their orders.

thanks & regards,
easwar.

.doc is used to store text documents, .gif is used to store image infomation. Are you saying you want to place a .gif image inside a new .doc? If so, search for "Tools for Microsoft Office"

What is Bubble Event? How it is used?

Bubble events occur in WPF only. It means the event bubbles up to controls above the one that raised it.

hi
I have 6 datatables with me in my application.These datatables were fetching from a server machine
Now i want to insert these items into a local database
Right now i am using foreach method to search all the rows and inserting each one into the local database.
Is there any method to import this datatable directly to a ms access database?
Please reply soon

Check out bulk insert[^]. I don't know if MS Access supports it, however.

Have you thought about migrating to Sql Server 2005 express? Then you could use SMO to create the tables and even the database and then use SQL Bulkcopy to move the data. MS access will greatly limit your ability to perform higher end database functions.

Why do you think that you need the full path?
turbster wrote: but i only get the name and not the path
Do you have any antivirus/firewall installed? If so, it might remove the path for security reasons. It's also possible that Firefox does this by itself, for the same reason.
There is no reason that the web browser should send the complete path to the uploaded file anyway. It only exposes more information than neccesary.

I need data from an excel file.
The user need to select the sheet where the data is.
In firefox the radiobuttonlist whit the sheet names is empty.
If i control the conectionstring you need the hole path and firefox give only the filename.
That is the reason why i need the full path

Are you running some client-side script that is processing the Excel sheet?? Sending the full path to the server-side will do you no good because the server cannot get to the filesystem on the client machine.

The upload control is not used for selecting files, it's used for uploading files. The file will be sent to the server, the server doesn't have to fetch the file from the client.
Using an upload control for selecting a file only works as long as you are developing the application on your own computer. When you deploy the application on a server, it won't be able to access the file directly, as the server and the client are separate computers.

Hi,
i'm building application wich uses processor ID for license purposes. Now i'm rewriting some code from C# to C++ and I was wondering how to get processor serial num in C++ . Now I've found some examples, which return empty 0 serial number in C++ (on my computer), because "the feature is not enabled (on my MB probobly)" . However, when I try to get processor ID in C# using
ManagementObjectSearcher proc_info = new ManagementObjectSearcher("SELECT ProcessorID FROM Win32_Processor");
it does return a value. Does anybody know what is that value representing ?

Intel used to maintain an application note (# 485) that says it all;
assuming they still do (and not just provide a tool to run on a PC)
you should Google for it.
It refers to some assembly code, so you would probably need to create
a C/C++ dll and P/Invoke it.

That's not really a good idea. I know in all of my machines around here, the ProcId is turned off. It returns 0 in all cases. Can your licensing scheme handle that possibility?

After some research on this topic, i've changed my mind and instead of processorID , I'm using manufacturer and processor type specifications, which are not unique, but on combination with some other id's create "enough" unique identifier . I hope
thanx for reply
