While building the solution i'm getting this error "error result returned from 'tlbimp.exe'"
Please tell me the solution.

The original error implies that the IDE is not finding cl.exe on your machine. Could you make sure that cl.exe exists on your machine.
If it is there then I believe you can inform the IDE about it. Just start the IDE (without opening a specific project) and do the following:
1) Go to Tools --> Options
2) Click on the the projects folder at the left menu.
3) Under "projects", click on "VC++ Directories"
4) Make sure that the top right window labeled "Show directories for" contains "Executable files"
5) click on the new New Line icon (icon similar to new folder icon on the top right)
6) add the location where your cl.exe exists.

For what perpose are you using that exe in your application ?

Hi everybody,
I am writing a webscraping c# application, it's a browser that opens a web page enter the login and password then invokes the submit button. All this process is working, but when I wanted to treat each html node I had problems getting the next node and previous:

i have a windows service whic starts five differtn threads on Onstart() method and each therad checks five different xml file at certain interval. now is ther any way in whic i can debug the service.
plz do help.. just a logic will do.

You can try the following ways:
1.Use the attach to process command (on your service executable file) from the tools menu after setting some break points on your code.
2.Use System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Break(); command on your code to force break on program execution.

I am trying to write an ftp client program that will automatically detect a wireless network and upload files to ftp server. It is working nicely in normal condition.
But if network connection is disconnected in the middle of an ftp uploading, i get 'System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server' exception as i should get. Up to this part i have no problem.
But when the connection is available again, it tries to upload the file again and gets this exception---
System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (550) File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access).
I can not upload files until i restart the ftp publisher process in FTP Server. Definitely the FTP publisher service is locking the file in server and i can not even delete the incompletely uploaded file. I must restart the FTP Publisher process to work again.
A wireless network can be disconnected any moment. So this is a huge problem and i desperately need a solution.
PLEASE Try TO Help ME OUT.

if problem is occuring rarely then try to upload after pausing for couple or more minutes, i think server will leave the handle after sometimes. if there are list of files then try uploading others to utilize that time or simply use sleep.

In my experience, the only way that the post back happens is if the Message has a return queue and you use it. Is your question how to read a queue, or if the reply happens automatically?

Try using the Events from the MessageQueue object.
MessageQueue mq = new MessageQueue();

Then have the event handler that processes the delegate.

I had a question about named delegates. Now from my understanding named delegates can only hold references of a method that matches the signature of the delegate. I have a piece of code which is contrary to this statement.
Using System;

Now the delegate of type CountIt must refer to a method that takes int as a parameter and returns int as a parameter.
CountIt count = counter();
In the following line the delegate count is pointing to the method with no parameters or return type. So I wanted to understand how is it possible?
Is this assignment possible because the counter() is returning a object of type CountIt(same as that of the delegate)? If so when CountIt count = counter(); is executed it calls counter() and then just initializes the CountIt object an return it, does it actually go into the anonymous method block code? If not why?

That's all your code is doing, it's no mystery.

counter() returns an object, which is a delegate. So, this works. When the delegate fires, it will run the anonymous code, because that's how the delegate was defined.
The code is convoluted, but it's correct.

I'm using a Type Library Importer (Tlbimp.exe) for converting Microsoft PowerPoint 12.0 Object Library(Office 2007) to an Interop dll. If the same dll is used in the system where Lower versions Microsoft PowerPoint(Office 2003) is installed. I'm facing an error
The Command used to convert into the dll.
TlbImp "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\MSPPT.OLB" /keyfile:"C:\32\DotnetSigning\Signature.snk" /namespace:Interop.PowerPoint12 /out:"C:\New Folder\Interop.Office12.dll"
If i refer the dll in my C# .NET application. I'm facing with the below error;
"Assembly 'Interop.PowerPoint12, Version=2.9.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=4316ebe69d6f1d49' uses 'office, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'office, Version=11.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c'"
Is there a work around for this error?

On a more serious note you'll generally have to pay for a good collection, if it's only a few specific controls your after then you might be able to search around until you find free versions of each of them.
