Might be this is one other form of code solicitation?

Is there a way to set a named line or elipse, instead of just drawing one? If so, how would I do this. Thanks.

If you mean how do you draw a graphics object and be able to select it at runtime, no, there isn't any method built in to do this. There is no "retained mode" graphics in GDI+, only "immediate mode". You have to write the code to do this yourself. Google for "gdi retained mode".

Hi All,
I'm fetching web pages, and parsing TITLE to gather information. The title will come back as:
<TITLE>OID Repository - {iso(1) identified-organization(3) dod(6) internet(1)}</TITLE>
For some reason, my RE will not remove the trailing '}' from the match. The pattern is as follows (sorry about the poor formatting - I had to get rid of the smiley faces):
String Pattern = @"(?<=<title.*>)*(?<={)([\s\S]*)(?<=})*(?=</title>)";
Any ideas?

The following expression removes the trailing '}' from the match.
(?<=<title.*>)*(?<={)([\s\S]*)(?=})
The problem with your expression is that the [\s\S]* subexpression matches the trailing '}' character and includes it in the match. The regex engine then moves to the following character. The zero-width positive lookbehind assertion (?<=})* successfully matches the preceding character, which is the '}', and the final zero-width positive lookahead assertion is also successful.
Adding the trailing '}' character to the zero-width positive lookahead assertion achieves the correct result because after matching the final parenthesis the regex engine looks forward and finds that the trailing '}' and every following character match this assertion, but doesn't include them in the match.

Hello everyone,
I have written a class library app in VS C# 2005 and want to deploy it. Once on a machine, I am run Regasm /cobebase MyClassLib.dll from the .Net location to make it work.
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\RegAsm.exe [path of dll]\MyClassLib.dll
Doing so, I get an error saying "You must have administrative credentials to perform this task". Contact your system administrator for assistance."
I am puzzled since I am the only user on my computer and the administrator! I even doubble checked that from Control Panel/ User Account and Family. I am using Vista OS. Is there any other way to get to my computer as an admin?
Any information on this would be great.
Thank you very much and have a great day.

Vista sucks. Just because you are admin, doesn't mean you're admin. Make sure you right click on any app you want to run as admin and choose 'run as adnimistrator'

What ActiveX control??
SABhatti wrote: and made a CD along with a .dat and .idx file
And those .dat and .idx files would contain what?

What page? What company? Nothing is validated against the CD, so I have no idea what you're talking about here.
I'm guessing that the .dat and *.idx files are a database, possibly a FoxPro database??

well, forget about everything else, and just guide me how to read data from these .dat and .idx database files?

That's just not possible until you know what kind of database it is. It's that simple.

well the file type for .idx says SQL Server Replication Snapshot Index Script

Great. You have no idea what you have.
.DAT and .IDX are about as generic a file extensions as you're going to get. .IDX also has about 18 more documented uses on FilExt.com, and countless proprietary ones since IDX is short for Index.
Unless you KNOW FOR ABSOLUTELY SURE what's in that file, you're groping around in the dark. Also, none of the SQL Server providers will attach to a file without an instance of SQL Server running. If those are SQL Server files, they're useless to you.
