Kid sister rule got to the title!
You don't have the combo boxes above the code page to access the controls and the methods in the current class . Or am I missing something. This is the most frustrating thing (and square brackets) in the change from VB to C#.
Got my DAL working, half way through the code gen app I had forgotten how much fun it is to be applying something new. I've been here too long, time to move on.

I do. Don't remember turning it on. I'm sure they were there by default.

Hello everyone,
I want to monitor Http traffic from my local computer (Windows Server 2003) -- not always using IE -- to some specific web site.
I am interested in the headers/bodies in request/response. Any tool to use? Or code samples so that I can easily write one?
thanks in advance,
George

search in codeproject for "packet capture". There are some articles about that.

Thanks stancrm,
I think WireShark tool is good enough for me. I do not need programming, using existing tool is fine.

For developers, there's a library called WinPcap[^] (and certainly some .NET wrappers for it) which you can use.
As a standalone tool, the best I know of is WIreshark[^].

Thanks Simon,
Fiddle is good, but can only monitor IE http traffic. I want to monitor some specific application's traffic. Any comments? Could Fiddle do this or any other recommendations for this goal?

George

Fiddler can monitor non IE traffic. Think you have to set your app to send it's data through a specific proxy address which fiddler will monitor and forward on.
There's a bunch of stuff in the help docs on their website. Look for the bits on configuring fiddler for .net apps.
(Or try the other suggestions. Maybe wireshark does what you're after, I've never used it so I'm not sure.)

Thanks Simon,
Which API could be used to send Http traffic through a proxy?

You're going to get it as a stream from DirectX, same as the video, if the webcam has an audio stream.

Hi All,
Regarding this C# statement:
CodePrimitiveExpression stringPrimitive = new CodePrimitiveExpression("Test String");
System.Console.WriteLine(stringPrimitive);
the output will be "Test String", is there anyway that i can get rid of the double quotes, so the output can only be:
Test String
instead of
"Test String"
Many Thanks

Did you actually try it?
This code:
CodePrimitiveExpression stringPrimitive = new CodePrimitiveExpression("Test String");
System.Console.WriteLine(stringPrimitive);
Outputs this:
System.CodeDom.CodePrimitiveExpression
This code:
CodePrimitiveExpression stringPrimitive = new CodePrimitiveExpression("Test String");
System.Console.WriteLine(stringPrimitive.Value);
Outputs this:
Test String
No quotes, see.
Is that what you want?
