Hi programmers,
I have created a simple Windows application with a text box, a Browse button and a Delete button. I have also added an OpenFile Dialog control, such that whenever the user clicks the browse button, the Open File Dialog box is displayed. Now I want that whenever the user selects any file from the Dialog box and clicks on the Delete button, the file path must be copied to the following code of a Console Application, I have created earlier: //Code
{
System.IO.File.Delete("FilePathHere");
}
How can I do that? Please help.
Your help will be appreciated,

You can execute your console-application using the Process class. Add the filepath-variable as a parameter, enclosed in quotes. In the console-application, read the parameter and convert it back to a variable.
Hope this helps

How can i start with read registry subkeys values created by each running process
in the task manager using c#?
|
|
|
|
|
You can get the Running Process List and File Name by Using System.Diagnostics.Process.Process().
The Windows API provides a function RegNotifyChangeKeyValue that is used to Find the changing in Registry.

HI
I want to change the colour of title bar in c# .net to my form attractive can anybody help me or give me relevent information about my post
|
|
|

Hello Shomic,
You cannot change the color of the title bar simple like that. It depends on the OS or the present theme of your or your client's PC. However, you can apply interactive design to your form by using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) but for that you have to know core XML. You can seacrh for online tutorials on WPF in Google or MSDN. Hope this helps.

Your links are all embedded into one <a href> tag, so those 3 links all link to one broken url it seems

What king said has a point, but drawing graphics or custom borders in non-client areas of the form wont make it interactive. For making it attractive u must use Microsoft Expression blend, or as I previously suggested, WPF is a must. If u mean to make a form graphically attractive, then King's post is reallt suggestive. But if you meant designing the form interactively in Vista or Windows 7 or any other themetical style then drawing Graphics will never help. Got it dude? Whatever.....

Consider this before you do it - the user has already chosen what he thinks is attractive in the Display Properties for the OS. You really shouldn't mess with that setting because it's pretty damn rude.

Well, I guess you need to take 15 or more screenshots a second, and store them in a video file. I believe there's a Windows Media SDK that may help with creating video files.

ds = new DataSet();
rpt = new PSDClearedCrystalReport();
con = new OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.Oledb.4.0; Data Source=e:/Ashish/Practice/ContractSystem/ContractSystem/ContractSystemDB.mdb");
con.Open();
cmd = new OleDbCommand("select * from PSDApproval where InitialPSD='" + str4 + "' and FwdDtByPSD between '" + str1 + "' and '" + str2 + "' order by FwdDtByPSD", con);
rd = cmd.ExecuteReader();

pr = rd.GetString(0);
MessageBox.Show("PR==" + pr);
da = new OleDbDataAdapter("select PrNo,Description,ValueQuoted,PurchaseGrp,RcdDtEA,FwdDtPSD,Initial from InitialApproval where InitialApproval.PrNo='" + pr + "'", con);
da.Fill(ds, "InitialApproval");

rpt.SetDataSource(ds);
