its normal state only but only that single page is loading so.

The problem is that only on page load for the 1st time..the next time we open it it will open in normal mode.

If you have it set correctly, then you must have some code that's causing it to minimise.

il explain u the flow.After login we enter into a new registration form that form is minimised.but if we close that registration form n then open, it wil open in the normal state.
|
|
|
|
|
Well, then you need to take the code that shows the form, and explicitly mark it to not be minimised. I repeat, you either have a problem in your code, or you have a property set wrong.

Are you starting it from the start menu or double clicking a shortcut? It could be the case that the shortcut is instructed to start the application in minimized mode.

on button click of a page.the new registran for is opened.and also if we open the existing (completely filled form )form for editing then also its minimised but if we close that registrn form and then reopen it from a toolstrip it is in normal state.the thing is that 2nd the reopening is from toolstripmenu option.

I am using C# 3.5 dotnetframework.

Thank you in advance

System.Collections. But you'll get better results using a typed System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary.

Please refer [^]
Actually the Class Name is 'Hashtable'

Hi All,
Is it possible to register more than one channels on server so that server can listen to more than one channels, so far i can only register one either http or tcp channel on the server. below is my code to register 1 tcp or http channe:
HttpChannel channel = new HttpChannel(80);
ChannelServices.RegisterChannel(channel, false);
RemotingConfiguration.RegisterWellKnownServiceType(typeof(ResumeLoader),
"ResumeLoader", WellKnownObjectMode.SingleCall);
System.Console.WriteLine("Server started, press any key to exit");
System.Console.ReadLine();
Any thoughts and advice will be appreciated.
Regards
Andie

I implemented the Tooltip.Show(String, IWin32Window, Point, Int32) in "OnMouseMove", such that I could specify the position where tooltip is shown, the only problem I have with this method is that tooltip displays as the mouse is moving.
I tried to use Tooltip.SetToolTip for which I could specify "AutomaticDelay" so that the tooltip will be displayed when mouse is stopped for seconds. But in this method tooltip will be positioned in the center of the associated control.
So I registered ToolTip.Draw event, but I didn't find where to change the Tooltip display position.
Thanks,

i have a datagrid and i have attach context menu with its items....nw i want to track that item which have curretly contextmenu in the menu items click event...hw can i do that?

I am assuming you are using a DATAGRIDVIEW and are working with winforms. In the menu click event you get the DGV.selectedrow[0].
You may need to handle the DGVs on click event to make sure the right click selects the row under the click. Use Hittest.

say there are multiple threads running ThreadTask(...) and MySingleton.Instance property returns a single instance of MySingleton implemented via i.e. Double-Checked Locking pattern (which is supposed to be not broken for .Net Memory model).
Given the following code for example, is access to the instance-scope Singleton method serialized?
void ThreadTask(...)
{
MySingleton singleTon = MySingleton.Instance;
singleTon.SingletonMethod();
}
public sealed class MySingleton
{
Class1 aClass1;
private MySingleton
{
aClass1 = new Class1();
}
public void SingletonMethod()
{
aClass1.ClassMethod1();
}
}

You will need to write code to make your access thread safe

once the single instance of MySingleton is created, each thread can have a reference to this instance via MySingleton.Instance. However, because the non-static method of MySingleton isn't implemented to be thread-safe, I was wondering, how access to this method happens?

It will execute on each thread seperately, and if two threads access it at once, then the results could be unpredicatable.
