To read /parse the xml file, u can use Tiny XML or XML Document Object Model.

yeah it good.. but i prefer Microsoft XML more as it there would no other dependency on parser code on executable

You need to say more detaily ,but you can use of CFileclass and also see

sir,
i am sorry that i was not able to send you people the attachment.

*On Read Button clicked, the cotents in the file (eg: the text in the file) must be displayed in the EditBox and must be able to read and wirte in to that particulaar file which is diaplyed in the EditBox.
*And on Save Button ask the file name to save using FileDialog and Write the File Using WriteFile(), Data Entered in the EditBox

CFile::Write() to write the contents back to the file.
What is your problem exactly? Reading or writing to the file or something else.

Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do them.

If your question about read you can use of CFile::Read and use of SetWindowText/GetWindowText

Because he seems to be a bloody beginner without a clue, and he is harvesting Tips along the line "Use CFile".

This is technically correct and morally (he does not describe his problem, wants uns to do his homework and refuses to answer questions of any kind) too.
But he is probably not able to benefit from such a "pointer into the documentation".

1. In a Dialog box application, as shown in the Attachment.
On Read Button ask the file name to read using FileDialog and Read the File Using ReadFile()and Display in the EditBox.
2On Save Button ask the file name to save using FileDialog and Write the File Using WriteFile(), Data Entered in the EditBox.

So CStdioFile will read file for you.. SetDlgItemText and GetDlgItemText will do the job for setting and getting text for you!

I think you're looking for google.

The most obvious way to compress an image is to save it as a jpeg.
