I get an error "the library PDBDAO.DLL could not be found" when i show or print report.

How would I go about subclassing a textbox to have a transparent. I'm stumped by this one. I can draw a differnt background but i cannot make the textbox transparent.

I am using vsflexgrid 8 . and in it i want to change cell color based on
cell's value if it is more then some value then color is red same way i want to

Can someone explain why the value 0.930 is changed then it is set in visual c++, and how I can do if I only want three decimals?
double d=(double)0.930;
//d=0.93000000000000005
float f=(float)d;
//f=0.93000001

Same reason DWORDs can store bigger numbers than WORDs.
doubles take up more memory, so can stored your number with greater precision.
Unless your number is coincidentally neat, a decimal fraction is unlikely to be stored perfectly in binary.
If you wany three decimal places, you can either print only three:
printf / CString::Format ("%.3lf", dValue);
Or stored your number as an integer, but remember to multiply / divide by 1000 when appropriate.

Hi...I am new to this forum..this being my first message.
I am working on a project in which i want to do billing. I have seen in various stores that the window in which they enter the values, it is not the same when the printout comes out, it is having some other format.
Can i Know how to print our own customised views while entering some data in a window ??

Hi,
One simplest way is to use word automation. You can move the data into a word document programatically, and do the printing. If needed we can give the generated output to the user itself b4 printing.

I had the same thing in my mind, but do not know how to do this thing programatically. can you please help me out how to code this word automation. All what is to be done will be that some values have to be exported to the word document where our format of the printout will be ready. And from there we will have to fire the print out somehow.
I know the procedure, but how to code all this is not known by me. Please help me out.

The idea of having office or word and then making the print outs was one way for the solution to the problem. What you have said is very true, and shouldbe thought over.
Well, as far as i am concerned, i am not aware of it at all. If you can help me out regarding it then please let me know.

if office is not there means, then we must have to provide another method like creating a text file, placing the data within that, and print.

Hi,
If I understand correctly the print out is not considered to be entire documents?
Doesn't matter consider following:
Maybe you can choose RTF format for that. The RichEdit Control supports that format, you can print it out from code and Word can open it when you write it to file.
We use it in our product here (@ my job) all the time...
It's also a little easier than automation.
Look on MSDN about rtf codes, printing rtf and the RichEdit controls.

I used MFC and then I put just three line codes in OnDraw Handler(?)..

I compiled and linked.. it was OK.. but..
This cause runtime error in Image img(L"test.jpg");
I can't figure it out why it happens..
I also added startup and shutdown code..
why?

Gee, did you do any research of your own before asking this question ?
Of course you can. You just need to install the SDK.
