If this is an MFC application, have you considered CenterWindow() ?

I Believe he is asking for some Function or api that help him to Center his Window to the desktop/Monitor.

Hi everybody. Something seems weird to me in the MFC, maybe I just haven't explored all options, but it looks like I can't export one of my interfaces from the project. I designed a new DIALOG, and its saved by the VC++6 IDE in the resources of the project. Now... what if I will make in the future a similar project and I just want to copy-paste that interface in my new project. It seems that I can't export the dialogue at all!!! So do I have to re-create dialogues from scratch? I don't think so. I think I'm missing something.

You do not need to re-create dialogue.
You just need open your new project . then open the “ResourceView" ---> "Dialog", then use main menu "File"
"open" ,choose your old project's resource file(*.rc), and open it. Finally copy-paste between the two resource file.(I usually drag the old dialog into the new project).
I am sorry for my poor English not to express myself clearly.

1)Go to class view
2)Right click dialog class
3)select Add to Gallary
4)open new project
5)select projetct->Add to project
6)select component and controls
7)Class as well as dialog will add to project

hi there,
I'm a level 3 student doing my project on Optical music notes recognition. My system will actually process a scanned music score sheet and play the real music as if it is played by the real musician using real piano. I got a problem in identifying the stave lines. Stave lines are the lines in which the music notes are written on. I have to identify this stave lines and give a value for each of them. These stave lines are all horzontal. I'm looking for the source code for this proble. I would be glad if you can asist me on this. Thanks.

You might to consider fixing the URL. It has a break, which might be why it's broke!
I also did not see anything in the link discussing radio buttons. Did I overlook something?

Hello Dear
I have a dialog based MFC application in which I get the HWND of some other running application window. Now I want to change to position of that window and not the Size of that window....So how to achieve ?
I do it in such way....
void CMyDialog::OnInitDialog()
{
int NewYPosition, NewXPosition;
HWND *pWnd;
pWnd = FindWindow(NULL,"NameOfWindowToChange");
CRect MyRect;
NewYPosition = 10;
NewXPosition = 10;
MyRect.top = NewYPosition;
MyRect.left = NewXPosition;
pWnd->MoveWindow(MyRect,true);
}
It moves my new window to the desired location but also changes the size of window.
Any idea what do...so that it doesn't change the size of the window.
Thank you very much

Hi
use SetWindowPos with flag SWP_NOSIZE
or use simething like
CRect myRect;<br />
GetClientRect(&myRect);<br />
ClientToScreen(myRect);<br />
myRect.MoveToXY(5,10);<br />
MoveWindow(myRect.left, myRect.top,<br />
myRect.Width(), myRect.Height());
