Hi all!
How can I catch the event whenever a user maximizes a form by clicking on the maximize button? 
PS: I don't seem to have to worry about users resizing the form manually.

There is no "maximize event". The form is just told to resize itself, which will fire the form's Resize events. You can then check the form's WindowState property.

If you maximize a Form, its the Form that gets resized; the Controls on it may or may not
resize. Why do you use pnl_Chart_Resize??

No, but the functionality you want is "virus-like".
Windows, actually the Explorer Shell, doesn't expose a method to tell you which file(s) is(are) selected.

In datagridview if I press tab key the focus move to next cell. Like that I want to move to focus to previous cell by pressing shift+tab key. What i want is how can i achive this through programm. for moving to next cell I am using sendkey(tab) commnad. but if i give sendkey(shift+tab) error is generated. please tell how to combine different key combinations in the datagridview (ex) shift+tab or control+home or control+end

How are you expecting to upload images ? Sounds like you're trying to use FTP.

Not actually.I am just trying to upload an image using the fileupload control of asp .net 2.0.Can you tell me if my problem is something related to identity impersonation?

Ah - you cross posted, that's why I answered this twice.
If you're using the file upload control, then I've never seen that before. Please continue discussion in the correct forum ( ASP.NET ).

I am developing some application using the datagridview control. Inwhich if I press the enter key in any cell the focus move to next row.but I want the focus should move to next cell just like pressing the tab key. How can i solve the problem. Please help

Hi,
I have a problem which I cannot resolve for days now and really hope someone can shed light on it.
I am using vb.net and import a function from C that contains a callback. This C function requires that I pass a pointer to a structure in VB.NET. In VBA I get it working by passing the pointer via varptr(MyStructure) but I cannot find a way in VB.NET and I am porting my application to vb.net. I use the example you have provided in the article
Dim gh As GCHandle = GCHandle.Alloc(MyStructure, GCHandleType.Pinned)
Dim p_MyStructure As IntPtr = gh.AddrOfPinnedObject()
But get following message:
‘Object contains non-primitive or non-blittable data’ since mystructure is very complex and contains objects and classes.
Any idea what I could do?
One workaround I found is to copy the structure to another pointer and work with the copy:
Dim p_xcurvevalues As IntPtr = gh.AddrOfPinnedObject()
Marshal.StructureToPtr(xCurveValues, p_xCurveValues, False)
but this makes subsequent programming problematical and i would like to avoid that.

We'd have to see the function header for the function you're calling, the Declare statement in VB.NET and the structure definition, including any attributes used.

hi Everyone,
there r language specific problem. In my application i have Two text box related to English & Turkish language .
i enter "Transportation /Traveling" in textbox related to english and "Ulaşım / Seyahat" in textbox related to Turkish(which is english equivalent of Transportation /Traveling) .and save in databse. but when i get back this value from database then it show "Ulaşım / Seyahat" for "Transportation /Traveling".
i enter many word but when i get back then it is not in proper form.
can anybody have idea(or link) that how can i solve this problem ?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think that the db doesn't know how to save the special characters of the turkish language
if the db is located on a server check if that server has the right language packs installed
also check the db settings maybe there is something there about language

without changing db settings encoding would probably be the only way to go so I would do some testing with it to see how good it works

Is it possible to programmatically highlight a column in a DataGridView that I have right-clicked on (to display a ContextMenu)?
