I know how to install Window service.
If i add 2 window services in a solution and then try to install the service it will still install only one of it.
Is it possiable to install more than one service from a single solution?

I would like to be able to receive and send SMS in VB.NET. Please respond with sample or example of how i could accomplish this. I would especially love tutorials which i could read to acquire information/knowledge.
What do i have so far? Well i know you can access through COM Ports via cell phones. I also know that AT and MSCOM in .NET should have all the functions that handle this request.
I have been trying to read to see if i could find out exactly how but to no avail. Hence i now seek your assistance.
Looking forward to lots of response.

Here is an example of the type of thing that I need to do using Visual Basic Express:
Let's say that you are ordering a vehicle. First you pick the vehicle type:
Sedan
Sport Utility
Mini Van
Pickup Truck
Then, depending on which you selected, you get a list of exterior colors. Different colors are offered for each different vehicle type.
Then you are offered;
Leather seats
Cloth seats
Then you select an engine size. Different engines are offered for each different vehicle type.
Then you select a transmission, etc.
I prefer to use RadioBoxes with one of the RadioBoxes preselected as a default. Then I would like to have a Button1 labeled "Next" and a Button2 labeled "Back".
Where can I get a sample program that does this type of thing?
I tried to program it, but, the Button1_Click event or RadioButton1_checked_changed subroutines didn't work out because they caused me to get "lost". I need control to return to my next line of code after the user makes his selection.

Is there a way to get ‘Window Form Designer Generated Code’ of a VB.Net 2005 form
Thank you
Chatura Dilan

Under the Project menu, click on Show All Files. You'll find the Designer generated code file in the Solution Explorer window. You might have to click the little "plus" sign next to the form you want to see the designer code for.

For all you forum members out there who have criticised me for being intolerant, have a gander at this guy's response[^] to valid help provided by a respected member of The Code Project.
It is further evidence why I, and some other forum members, post the reponses we do.

Yes you are right, it shows that guy’s idiotic and iniquitous features. He doesn’t even know how to be grateful to Dave about answering his question.

Have installed Crystal Reports 7.0 on a Windows Server 2003 machine.
My application is coded in VB6 using web classes.
I get the reports to display in the web browser, but get an error when trying to export in the activexviewer of 'Export Failed - The report was not exported.' This error message is displayed using all 4 export types (Crystal Report, Rich Text, Word Document, and Excel 5.0).
Is there anything special that needs to be setup on a Windows Server 2003 machine to do exports?
Are there any special permissions that need to be set?

I doubt there is one. Those libraries exist to make that sort of stuff possible. You could bypass them, but not trivially, and certainly not in VB.

but, for example, how does msn messenger works? It doesn't need windows media encoder to make a videoconference...
