I am sorry, iI have explained this to you so many times now I just cannot be bothered much more. YOU need to write code to do something with the values held int here.
FOR THE LAST TIME, APP.CONFIG DOES NOTHING, IT IS SIMPLY A DATA FILE.
PLEASE, try using google and looking up app.config, despite my best efforts you simply do not seem to be able to grasp this simple concept.

Hi,
I have a cellMouseClick event on my dataGridView. When I click a mouse on a individual cell, based od cell index I must set a background color or an image on a individual cell?
I know that this is possible on an entire column.
But on a individual cell?
Thank you!

You do it int he datagridview_CellFormatting event.
private sub dgv1_CellFormatting(object sender, DataGridViewCellFormattingEventArgs e)
if days = 5
then
e.CellStyle.Font = new Font(e.CellStyle.Font.Name, e.CellStyle.Font.Size, FontStyle.Bold)
e.CellStyle.BackColor = Color.Orange
end if
end sub
Hope this helps

Permissions issue? Where are you trying to save it to?
|
|
|
|

I do not think it is a permission issue... I am writing directly on "D:\"

Maybe you should test to see if it is?

Hi.
I'm making an application that reads the contents of the clipboard when it changes, and looks for specific values. I've read posts describing how the windows hook chain works, and this seems like the best approach. But I don't understand how to hook onto the chain or have my procedure run when clipboard changes.
EDIT:
I found a page describing exactly how to hook on to the chain here. The result works like it's supposed to, but not in the way I meant to. A part of the code is constantly running, thus using more resources on the computer than I intended to. Not a big deal, but you know... Always searching for the perfect solution
I had hoped that there was some way to make windows run a sub ONLY when the contents of the clipboard changed. This works fine for now, but I'm still looking for another solution. I'm still hoping for lots of advices
Sincerely, Erik.

I am trying to create simple report viewer in VB.NET (VS 2003)
I put CRViewer control on the form and trying to assign .rpt file name to the ReportSource property
But it doesn't work - i get message "Load report failed."
I tried to download sample applications from BusinessObects Support site but all samples are using "build-in" reports. and I need to open .rpt file from the disk.

I have a form in a software program where the user can type in their information. When the zip cod form field is empty and I submit the form I get an error that says the string is in the wrong format, but when the field is filled in I don't get the error.
How do I check to see if someone has filled in a text box in the form or if it is empty?
