I’d like to point out that you should always reply to the original post instead of creating a new thread for the following reasons:
1- The new thread will take space in the message board and people would think it’s a question or something important.
2- If you create a new thread instead of replying, the original post’s author will not get notified by email that you posted something. I would have missed your reply if I had not checked the forum.
3- Even if the original post’s author notices your post, he/she may get confused what this post is for.

Hi,
I developed one activeX control which uploads multiple files to web server,using "Microsoft Internet Transfer Control" which uses FTP protocol to upload.
I want this to be done in HTTP,i dont want to make use of PHP/ASP/JSP script to upload.My control should upload all files.
Please suggest me if u have better solution to this.

You can't do it with HTTP its the wrong protocol (HyperText Transfer Protocol). You need to use FTP (File Transfer Protocol). The clue is in the names of the protocols.

You could use a php scrip on the server that will load any file you spesify with VB

i have a method that contains two parameters . Now my question is , how should i give the address of that method to thread , as the thrad don't allow two parameters ?

2. Put the method in a class among with two member variables, and put the values in the member variables before starting the thread so that the method can access them.

Have a look in your Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Data Sources. You may find that you have a Data Source called Excel Files under either the User DSN or System DSN tab. Using this, connector may be the simpliest way of achieving your desired results.

What is Tally? Presumably a vertical software package that you do not have access to the database.
Find out if you can connect to the database.
Find out if you can export the data.
Find out if you can output the data as reports.
Deal with the resulting output by parsing the information.

Hi!
To just put the song's name in the listbox I suggest using the FileName from the OpenFileDialog and splitting it in order to extract the filename only, for example:
Dim OpenSong As New OpenFileDialog
OpenSong.ShowDialog()
If Not OpenSong.CheckFileExists Then Exit Sub
If OpenSong.FileName = "" Then Exit Sub
Dim SongSplit As Array = Split(OpenSong.FileName, "\")
Dim SongName As String = SongSplit(SongSplit.Length - 1).ToString
MyListBox.Items.Add(SongName)
This Should Work, If All you want to do is add the song's name to a listbox, forgive me if I misunderstood your question.
