I am usingthe code,

for creating a folder inside " c:\moved\PK3\ "
Most of the time its work fine. But some times an error will come as "Path/file access error".
Its not happen often . How to resolve this error?

Post the full exception detail include the full message, stack trace and everything else.
From the info you've given my best guess is that you are trying to create a directory that already exists. (because you've already run the method once in this minute)

Hi.
I'm a spanish developer, i need to implement a 2D Closet designer very similar to this: http://www.ikea.com/ms/es_ES/rooms_ideas/pax_step_by_step_08/index.html
The system must do this:
1. drag items with texture, from the menu to a design area.
2. drop in the area in function of the properties, for example:
- Object_A, can drop only in the base of the closet.
- The size of the Object_B is from point A to the point of collision in the near object
- We can put the Object_C, only from top to bottom (move restricted in x direction).
3. The user can edit the position and the size of any object in any time.
Did any of you know resources (tutorials, examples, templates, libraries, plug-ins...) that can help me to finish saving time?
I have a little problem of time.
Thank you.

When you are debugging a program, the debugger (visual studio) needs to locate and load the matching symbol files (the .pdb files) for the specific version being debugged.
It's possible that the .pdb files for some reason are getting mismatched. Perhaps there are some old .pdb files hanging around from an old build. Try deleting everything in the bin and obj directories of every project. This will cause all the projects to rebuild fully and regenerate their .pdb files.
If this doesn't work, check the project settings to see if it's configured to generate symbol files. (Right click on the project->Properties->Build tab->Advanced->Output:Debug Info. Set to either full (for debug builds) or pdb only (for release builds).

If you are still unable to get that to work, you can right click on the breakpoint, choose locations, and enable the "allow code to be different" checkbox at the bottom. This will let you debug code when the deployed PDB/DLL doesnt match your debugger copy.

Very nice tip astanton, didn't know that option was there.

This code that I've used just give a move last command and i can't figure out how to the move next so that I can look for the items in my data base one-by-one.
can you give me some solution?
Thanks a lot in advance.

1 - we have an ASP.NET forum
2 - please tell me you don't have a textbox called textbox1 ?
3 - ADO.NET returns a full record set. You can iterate over it any way you like, but there's no movenext, like there was in ADO.

ohh.. thanks for d reply. And about the textbox1 in the code. I'm just testing the code that I've used and didn't bother to change the ID of the textbox. But thanks for the advice though.

You almost certainly cannot, as Crystal almost certainly doesn't tell you how long it wil ltake and provide progress indicators. You can do a progress bar that just spins tho, just load your report in another thread so your UI thread stays responsive.

I'm creating a new PowerCfg for Windows XP however, when I run the code it says that it can't change the values because I don't have the appropriate privileges when I do. What is wrong with my code? Thanks in advance.

The account that is running the code is of the Administrators group and has the privileges to edit the Registry. Thanks though.

According to the error you're getting, the account you're using, Administrators group member or no, doesn't have the permissions to modify those values. It's possible that those kes/values are locked by group policies setup by your LAN Admin.

Hi,
I am trying to convert the 24 bit image to 1 bit image.
How can I convert it.
I had tried the following code and obviously it didn't work.
Thank You.
<br />
Public Function ConvertTo1bpp(ByVal img As Bitmap) As Bitmap<br />
Dim rc As New Rectangle(0, 0, img.Width, img.Height)<br />
Dim bmpS As New Bitmap(img.Width, img.Height, PixelFormat.Format1bppIndexed)<br />
bmpS.SetResolution(img.HorizontalResolution, img.VerticalResolution)<br />
Dim bmpDataSet As BitmapData = bmpS.LockBits(rc, ImageLockMode.ReadWrite, PixelFormat.Format1bppIndexed)<br />
Dim bmpDataSource As BitmapData = img.LockBits(rc, ImageLockMode.ReadOnly, img.PixelFormat)<br />
bmpDataSource.PixelFormat = PixelFormat.Format1bppIndexed<br />
img.UnlockBits(bmpDataSource)<br />
<br />
Return img<br />
End Function<br />

This isn't going to work because how does the code know which pixels to turn on and which to turn off?? 1bpp only leaves white and black as your colors, so you need to come up with a cut off point in the original image to make the conversion mean anything. In other words, if the brightness of a color is below a certain threashold, the target pixel should be black, otherwise it's white. This code will not do that for you.
3 seconds worth of Google came up with this[^] C# source to do the conversion your talking about.

Thank You Dave.
I had looked at that link and already using it.
There is a problem so I had to post this message here.
I should be more specified on my question.
Here is what i want..
I have color Jpg image file and I converted it to black and white tiff image using colorMatrix.
Everything came out good but the tiff image is in 24 bit color depth.
I need it to 1 bit color depth and should not change the look of tiff image.
I also found out if the tiff image is in floyd-steinberg and it can have grayscal with 1pbb.
But I just dont 'know how to do it.
Here what i did.
1) convert the jpg to GrayScale() using colorMatrix
2) then use the result image which is black and white with 24 bpp and convert it to 1bpp using the example on this link http://www.wischik.com/lu/programmer/1bpp.html[^]
but the image turn all black and white .. no more shadow.. depth like I have before.

No, that is not true. A 1 bpp image has two colors, black and white. This is greyscale only in that those two colors are the two extremes of the greyscale range. A greyscale image is 8bpp.
pnpfriend wrote: but the image turn all black and white .. no more shadow.. depth like I have before.
That is exactly what converting to 1bpp will do. EVERY time.

Unless you use some kind of dithering algorithm to get the effect you want, you can't get "shadows" in a single bpp image.

You can actually create a new 1bit bitmap and draw your 24bit image onto it, if you want to see what sort of conversion you get by default. However, Dave has given you a link if you wanted to control the threshold yourself.
