i dont think its bcoz of sql server does not allow remote connection.. iv been copied this coding from my previous web app.. but the one that im doing currently is windows form.. will it cause a problem? bcoz in web app i will put the connection inside the web.config but in this windows form i put in the coding area as i posted b4. if there's no problem using the coding from my web app, that's why im confused.. my web app can connect to the database, can add, update..

What code can be used to format numbers in a listbox so that zeros show after the decimal point e.g.
show 5.000 not 5.

Use the Format() function.
Example:
Format(5, "#0.000")
will produce 5.000 in a ListBox

You could convert each number to a string using either String.Format or its ToString property, specifying a format that you like. If you do that, you'll have to convert the string back to a number when somebody selects an item; the conversion back to a number may not be exact.
Alternatively may could define a class which holds a number but defines a 'toString' function that formats numbers the way you want (indeed, the numeric format may be defined as a property of the class). Doing this would allow you to easily determine the exact (rather than represented) value of whatever the user clicked on. You could also store any other desired information in your class. If you define iComparable within your class, you could also take advantage of the ListBox's ability to sort its items (which you could not do very well if the ListBox just held strings.

I have 2 web pages(text.aspx and pic.aspx) that can navigate to one web page(all.aspx). In all.aspx, there is a "Back" button, i need to get the URL from previous webpage in order to know which page i should back to.

Whether you run/compile your application? If Yes, then Navigate the Debug/Release folder of your project directory which contain EXE

Convert the source to a hexadecimal representation of assembly code, then save it as an EXE file. Alternatively, you could just press F5 to debug the program, and F6 to build it. The finished program (and perhaps some none-standard references) will be in your project file, in the Release folder. Double click it to run it like any other program
