Try to write a subject that says something about the problem.
Can you describe what it is that you think is incorrect with the way that IE6 displays the page?

Hello to all,
Which one is flexible/optimal solution to save uplaoded image.
Frist save image at server or from where you're site pages are save in any image folder and save only image name or link to database.
Secondly convert image to bite form then save whole bite form image to database.
My friends feel that second one is right choice, but i felt that frist one is correct as conversion procedure and retrival from database is completly time consuming and not correct from web hosting point of view.
Feel free to give all kind of suggestion.

Just 'cause you can doesn't mean you should. I don't believe the 2nd solution scales very well, or at least not as easily as the first.
Storing image files in a database increases managment overhead and maintenance windows for backups/restores. As the amount of image data stored increases you have to create separate filegroups for the image data. Then you have to put those filegroups on different disk arrays. But unless you can afford Enterprise Edition 2005 that's as far as you can scale. Ent Ed will allow you to partition the table across file groups and you can add new disk arrays to reduce the IO. But still you're only going to get so far before you've completely bloated your database and created all kinds of headaches. All of which involve figuring out how to scale UP, which is more expensive and not necessary in this case.
On the other hand if you store your images on a file server, when it fills up or becomes overloaded, you just change the path root used to store new images and you can scale OUT by adding a new server or location for the files. You can leave the old files where they are.

How did you create the proxy to the web service? If you are using visual studio you can just add a web reference to the windows from and it should work just fine. I am thinking that you have a problem with your proxy to the web service, probably the url is incorrect.

If you create a proxy to your web service you can dynamically switch between different urls.
The proxy class could look something like this:
class WebServiceProxy : YourWebservices.orderService
{
public WebServiceProxy(string p_url)
{
this.Url = p_url;
}
}
Then the call looks like:
WebServiceProxy ws = new WebServiceProxy("yoururl");
ws.yourMethod();
Hope that helps.

Yeah, we reviewed the CodeScan Developer product on our site. We were pretty impressed.

Considering the price, the product is pretty good.

You seem to misunderstand how ASP and Javascript work. ASP works server-side; by the time the user receives his/her HTML+Javascript, ASP objects (and arrays, which are objects also) do not exist any more. That is why your code doesn't work.
To fix it(easy way): construct a string with ASP script, that will contain all members of the array, delimited my comma; pass this string to the Javascript (like you did) and construct an array within Javascript back.

Thanks for this information.
but i have 2d array like this
abc 23 44
pqr 22 444
qwe 20 4444
zxc 21 44
How is this possible to pass a string ?????
Thanks,

There are no two dimentional arrays in Javascript, so you have to use a jagged array.
Loop through your array and construct a string with Javascript code from it that looks like this:
var MyArray = [['abc','23','44'],['pqr','22','444'],['qwe','20','4444'],['zxc','21','44']];

Put a script tag in your page, to import the js file from the server. To be honest, if you don't do this, the script is kind of useless, it's only good for running on the client.
<script language="javascript" src="path"/>
Where path is the path to the js file, either relative to the page that's calling it, or absolute from the server root.

Haven't you answered this same question a bazillion times before?
Seems to be the first question a noob asks when first learning javascript!

I have been trying to write a text file on VB .net 2003 and finally I tried to copy the same code and then paste on VB .net 2005 it worked.
I don't know how to fix this problem on VB .net 2003.
Anybody who know how to fix this problem?
Here is the errow detial it shown me on VB .net 2003
=================================================================================================
Access to the path "c:\mytext.txt" is denied.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "c:\mytext.txt" is denied.
ASP.NET is not authorized to access the requested resource. Consider granting access rights to the resource to the ASP.NET request identity. ASP.NET has a base process identity (typically {MACHINE}\ASPNET on IIS 5 or Network Service on IIS 6) that is used if the application is not impersonating. If the application is impersonating via <identity impersonate="true">, the identity will be the anonymous user (typically IUSR_MACHINENAME) or the authenticated request user.
To grant ASP.NET write access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose "Properties" and select the Security tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate user or group. Highlight the ASP.NET account, and check the boxes for the desired access.

Please help me if you know how.
Thank you very much.

The system user account ASP.NET doesn't have rights to the file on the web machine. Give it rights and it will work fine.
The only way to speed up a Macintosh computer is at 9.8 m/sec/sec.
