Hello,
i want to create buttons in run time.as
for(int i=0;i<5;i++)

Button b1=new Button();
this.Controls,add(b1);
}
now how can i identify click event of these 5 b1 buttons. As they all have same name.can i create button as b1,b2--b5 in run time and identify click event of that.in vb i use control array for this.but haow can it be used in C#.

You have to add EventHandler .
btn.Click += new EventHandler(btn_Click);
But for all different button, you need to create Array of Button object and Add different method with different button click.

Hello,
I am trying to build a sample applicaion "address book". I have followed DAL, BLL and then the actual web page models till now.
But now I am trying my hands on VS 2008. And noticed lot of different type of projects. Like MVC Template, Dynamic Data web applicaion and so on.. and there are various ORM tools also not a days available.
How to identify which one should I use?
If we use the ORM tools like NHYBERNATE, LINQ can we blow them up to be an enterprise applicaion?

I would say use only tools that you understand. You can build any website without these tools. If you don't know how to use them, they will do more harm than good.

Hi,
My Project has references of Activeds and ADODB but as soon as i am building the setup it is asking for the Activeds and ADODB to be excluded. After these dlls are excluded the setup project is making a setup of the program. Now that i have excluded these dlls, the application is not running on another computer after the setup installation is complete.

Hello
I’m developing a website on tourism. It is public website where no authentication is required. I have around 200 topics which we need to cover. Instead of having 200 different html pages we were planning to have one single page which will display html content after fetching from database. We are planning to store all html for 200 topic in database table. We tested this approach with couple of topics and it is working fine.
Here I have a concern where I need your opinion:
Will above approach affect the google search engine to rate our different pages? Does this effect SEO activities…
Please suggest…Because for each topic meta tags will also be in database tables.
If your reply is yes please suggest some other alternative as we don’t want to maintain 200 different pages……..
PS: I had also posted the same question on Web Development forum, not sure who can reply in best way...........

yes... seo could be affected and it depends on how you change catagories.
i use a query string to change catagories
not all search engins will support this url (google does)
/catagories/default.aspx?catagoryId=4
To support all search engines I use urlrewriter.net[^] to rewrite my url's to a friendly name
if done properly your links will look like
/catagories/catagoryName.aspx (seo friendly)

So FF gets the file, but it doesn't open ? Have you done a binary compare ? Are they the same size ? I see no reason why this would not work.

I have a textbox for the subject of email. The user should be allowed to type in symbols like trademark, copyright etc and also be able to copy and paste wingding fonts from word. In addition to allowing symbols, the user should also be able to type in simple words in the subject line.
Any suggestions, please?

Yes, when I paste I see boxes for some symbols. I can paste in the copyright,trademark symbol but when recieved, its changed to "?"

What it most likely means is that the FileUpload does not have the file. The next more pertinent question is why does it not? That I can't answer without more information.
