I want progress bar with remaining time, how much % completed,how much file size in MB remaining while uploading file.
It should be editable(means I can alter in code as my requirement).

code should be free available.
I will appreciate.
I need hardly for that........

good luck. there are some commercial libraries, but nothing free that I know of.

hi I am using a File Upload Component to upload files to the site. The problem is that it doesn't alllow me to upload any media (sound or video). Do you have any suggestions what alternative controls to use and from where to get them please?

The standard file upload control is the only way to upload files, all fancy controls use the same functionality.

You can upload any file type you like. Your control may offer config options to block some types, but the standard control uploads anything.

Have you checked that the media files are not too big, that could be why they are not uploading

If the files are too big add this in web.config file
<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="100000" executionTimeout="9000"/>

OK, so the second form is created as a child of the first ? Does the parent tell the child to update, or vice versa ? How is the second form launched ?

This only works because Word works out what the data is. To create PDFs, you need to buy a PDF library.

I have a very big trouble. 3 day along i try DEBUG.

but it's not easy, i read a lot of forums/ Than i did

First of all i delete temporary aspnet files (kill aspnet_ws)

I change setting to debug mode, i create a breakpoin, save project,

I goto DEBUG-options Check enable just my managed only code (i also try unchek this option No luck)

and i change optins in solution-property

I want to use TDD on a web base system written in C#.net 2.0. My web base is having some text boxes for user to input and save to the database using stored procedure. Those text boxes are also used for displaying value from the database. I have tried to search by google but no much detail can find. Hope anyone can give me a guild for this. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I've made a small web application with a ListBox which works well, but it is not very pretty with FireFox. The ListBox is populated automatically and its width changes with the contents. And when the list is empty, the width of the ListBox is about the width of the scrollbar... I've tried to fix its size, but I haven't been able to.

Anyone knows how I could do it?

i'm designing shopping cart.
but i have a problem by inserting item to the shoppoing cart.
when i add one item to cart,it added but when i add another item to cart with another ID the quantity of first item add(if i was added book1 and then i add another item for example book2 the quantity of book1 convert to 2 and book2 not be added in another row.

this is my code:

i don't know how i defined 'return index=0' in this forum,
i was used this code:
