I want to implement forum in asp.net.Can any body tell me how can i
implement forum in asp.net.Is there any softwre available to implemnt
forum which support asp.net like wordpress is available for php through
which we make forum in php.
Please tell me how can i procedd.

No. You don't need to create anymore.. Just download and configure it. and you can use it directly...

I m now dowloading it. After downloading it i have to setup it
on my machiene then i can directly interact with it i am also
read documention after downloading.I i want to enable forum
i have to run setup on my server then i can directly use it.

Ya. You need to upload "PreComplied" folder to your server.. then, run the database setup script thru Web Database manager.. and you can use it..

Precomplied folder means folder which contain setup.exe? and which database
script i have to run?in forum we have to store all question into database?

Hi,
i have given form authentication for my Member page, i kept my Member page in Secure folder.
now i added one more page in Secure folder and i want to assaign form authentication for that page too, but the thing is when i try to click the button instead of redirect to the corresponding page its redirecting to the login page,
Can any body help me how to solve this probs.

i created the virtual directory and after then i browsed the page on the same machine in the IIS.it is giving the following eror

HI
Its not the IIS problem. If u r using MS Access database then u
have to set accession permission for the database.Once u set
the permission u didn't get this error.

Go to the properties of the access database. Under properties go to the
security tab-->Add-->Advancec-->Find Now-->(select)IUser_(u rm machine name)-->
Ok-->Ok-->
It will add a guest account to then set write permission to that account.
This way u can apply security permission to u r database and also apply
write permission to your (user/machinename/user) account.

If ur database is inthe folder then u have to set permission to
database as well as folder.
Have u added done all those step that i have mentioned if u done it correctly
then see a guest account is added under u r security tab.
Select the guest account and check on write permission to it as well as (users/machinename\users) this account.

Hi i have read some articles regarding that issues and finding below resolutions.............
This is almost always a permissions issue. Be sure that the MDB file is in a folder where IUSR_<machinename> and IWAM_<machinename> have read/write access (because the anonymous user needs to create an .LDB file when modifying the database). If you are using Windows Authentication, make sure all authenticated users belong to a group that has read/write permissions on the folder where the database exists, and if you can't use a group, step through each user and check that they have sufficient privileges.

Instead of exposing a control, you should expose only the properties you need. For example, the Text property of a TextBox. If these are public, then you access them from the variable that represents the instance of the control, within the page.

step(1) made .ascx(user contol) with the textbox like below

You cast the Master property to an instance of your master page derived class and access it's properties from there.
