The following is third iframe in which i call a .aspx page.The code is as follows..
In login page Session value stored : Session("USERID") = gstrUserId
In Game Page (3rd Iframe page) session value retrieved : lstrid = CType(Session("USERID"), String)
(or)
lstrid =Session("USERID")
But i am getting "nothing" in lstrid , when i execute this with the help of breakpoint
Wat could be the problem.?

r u using any classes in between i.e. BLL / DAL etc...? this is the only issue with such kind of problems..
other chances may be that somewhere any dynamic class code i sgetting changes...means your are creating some compilable code dyamically...
third, may be there is some event which is resetting your session..

Dear all,
i have a pdf file in some directrory of project(say mysite/pdfdirectory) and a pdf file inside the directory i have a pdf file inside directory adnd name of file saved in database now i want to show this pdf inside a particular div in a web form. the same thing works(for image file) when i add asp:image inside div, but its not working in the case of pdf. Can u please show me the path on how to do it i saw many exaple alll with Respose.writefile(fileuplaodpath) i think this shows the pdf file inside whole browser

Hi,
I used this code the project contains no error.
but the mail is going to the inetpub\mailroot\Queue folder not to the email id we provided. Is there any settings, smtp server is also running

check weather you Smpt sever allows mail or not. if yes the check the configuration.

try using a localhost server to see if the code works for that first
Then if your server is on the same network try specifying the server name rather then IP address

i am generating a text file and storing it in a temporary path and then propmting a "save as" dialogue box wherein the user can browse for a path and store the text file at the desired location at user's end.
the code that i m using is:
Response.ContentType = "text/plain"
Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment;filename=Script.txt") Response.TransmitFile("D:\Script.txt" )
Response.Flush()

and on the same page i have a hyperlink button which should redirect the user to another page.the text file is being saved at the browsed location and the hyperlink button is also redirecting to the desired page..but the URL is not getting changed as that of the redirected page.but when i try to do the same with a pdf file then the URL is changing to that of the redirected page.
Pls tell me how to get the corresponding redirection url when saving a text file..

<definition>
<category>
<element>

....
...
of element it may be any component like textbox , radiobutton, textlabel, table, ....

Its different frame. Each of my frame has different aspx pages. I want to call frame2 with aspx page2 function from frame1 with aspx page1.
