In master page you can put contentplaceholder inside head tag,
and in the content pages add the script tag to the contentplaceholder,
in this way the script will go to head tag at runtime

Hello,
We need to store like an audit of certain tables in a database, which will have very sensitive information. We need to log all the users that opened this certain table, if modified store this information that has been changed and by whom.
I was planning to have trigger on the table, and write to another separate history table, when users access open the table.
Would this be the only way achieve this?
Are there any softwares that already do this?

Restrict access to the tables via database security to only dba's. Create a separate user/users accounts for stored procedures. Add logging in the stored procedures.
Ideally, you should use Windows Security from start to finish but I constantly get overruled on using Integrated Security down to db layer so someone may know something that I don't ... actually it is because most domains have Authentication Delegation disabled on the Domain and it has to be setup to successful delegate credentials using kerberos. Sys admins don't like changing things, it seems when accounts have delegation enabled programmers can write malicious programs that act as other users just like pilot's have to go through metal detectors.

I agree that server side validation is safe. still if you wish to proceed then please find below example to validate textbox.

if(txtValue==null || txtValue='')

return false;
}

I want to check if the string ends with '-0000' when all the remaining characters are numbers.
I tried Regex.IsMatch(mystring, @"\d*(0){4}") but it returns true even when there is no '-'
which regular expression to check with for a string which ends with '-0000'

Not sure what you mean by that.
However, the following regex will ensure the string ends with a dash followed by exactly 4 numeric digits.
-[0-9]{4}$
If you want to ensure the whole string is zero or more numeric digits followed by a dash followed by exactly 4 zeroes, this would work:
^[0-9]*-0{4}$

Hello All,
To accomplish the autocomplete feature into our website, I went through the whole process of setting up AjaxControlToolkit on my computer. I set up a ADD TAB on Visual WEb Developer 2008 Web Express. Added an item and selected this dll. Was able to create the ajax controls.
Now when I set up a new web site, ajax and non-ajax web sites, for some reason I am unable to access these controls. Do I need to add the reference to the ajaxcontroltooklit.dll reference to this new web site project? I can see all the controls but on the design page when I try to drag an icon over, it does not let me .

It is not to with the autocomplete but the entire AjaxControlToolkit.dll itself.
I am unable to reference it any other newer projects, it comes greyed out on the toolbar. Do I need to add a new reference each time I want to use the Ajax controls?

that is why I have the Ajax Toolkit in a special folder. So each project can Find it (for the components left). Of coure you have to reference the dll in each project
