I assume they get uploaded, then you write some DirectX code which converts them. Do you intend on sending them back again ? I expect you don't want to stream them in as one, and back as another ?

is the link of msdn but I need some other details. So far what I searchd from google is small one paragraph articles.

System.Environment.NewLine is correct. If it's been uploaded, then how is it being rendered, it sounds like a rendering problem.

If you are rendering in a web browser, the Environment.NewLine might not have any effect unless encompassed within a PRE tag. You may like to replace them with BR tags to get that line break effect.

hi,
i designed a webpage in asp.net. in that i want to call one flash file.
i dont know how to call flash file, so please help me how to call it.

ASP.NET cannot interact with flash, you'd just embedd the HTML to show a flash file in your aspx, or create it through codebehind, if it needs to be dynamic.

Gosh - I'd suggest buying a book on SQL.
create proc CheckLogin @username nvarchar(500), @password nvarchar(500)
as
select count (*) from users where username = @username and password = @password
This will return 0 if the user does not exist, and 1 if it does.

Hi,
I am using full text searching with SQL Server 2005. I have written my code in VB.NET 1.1.
When I type in text1 text2 it will then go and search for text1 and text2 in the column. But when I type in "text1 text2" then it must go and search for the phrase text1 text2, instead of text1 and text2. I do not know how to do this.
Please can someone help.

i have data list which has check box in item template. i bound this data list to data source through coding. but when i try to read check box values which are checked i donot get any value though check box is checked. my code is like
protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
foreach (DataListItem _obj in dlAddressType.Items)
{
if (_obj.ItemIndex > -1)
{
Label _lbl = (Label)_obj.FindControl("lblAddressTypeID");
int chkID;
string chkVal;
chkVal = _lbl.Text;
chkID = Convert.ToInt32(chkVal);
CheckBox _checkBox = (CheckBox)_obj.FindControl("chkAddressType");
if (flag != 1)
{
if (_checkBox.Checked == true)
{
_ag.AddAddress(ad);
// now the addressGroup object has 2 addresses in it.
// indicate this is the shipping address AddressTypeID = 5
_ag._AddressDetails[chkID].AddressClientSideID = ad.ClientSideID;
}
}
else
{
if (_checkBox.Checked == true)
{
_ag = new AddressGroup(ad);
_ag._AddressDetails[chkID].AddressClientSideID = ad.ClientSideID;
flag = 0;
}
}
}
}

Well, you can put what the active tab is on the URL, so that when you refresh, it knows what to show. Or you can move to AJAX for the data you're polling in your refresh

I see you know that punctuation marks DO exist, so why don't you start using them so we can better understand what you're saying?
What kind of tab is it? in ASP.NET, you don't have a tab control, only in Windows forms do they exist.

Ok, so you use a menu to select the tabs. but the tabs themselves, how do you define them? do you have for example a multiview control with 2 views inside? or what?
And i'm not Rich Cook

Good day all who read.
I'm having some problems with including some Javascript files. I have recently restructured my website so that all the pages site in seperate folders dependant on which section they are part of. I am using the ~ attribute all over the place to reference other pages and images etc. This all works fine.
In my masterpage I want to include some Javascript external files but I can't use the ~ tag as this ruins the script tag. Therefore I am using the following in Page_Load
Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptInclude("MAD", Request.Url.ToString().Replace(Request.Path, String.Empty) + "/Javascript/MAD.js")
Someone suggested this and as much as it does work locally it doesn't on the webserver. This is because the site lie in a sub directory. This code drops the subdirectory. Therefore I am looking for the code that can traverse and output the domain (www.thesite.com), any ports that may be used (thanks to local versions with virtual server), and any sub domains that the app may be running in ( /Testapp ).
I have tried Server.Mappath but this doesn't seem to include the file correctly. Also I don't want a local path in the page's outputted code.
Thanks

Hi,
I am using VB.NET 1.1. I am trying to delete the selected items in a listbox and my code is not working. Can someone please help me on how to delete items in a listbox? More than 1 item can be seleted.
Here is my code:
' Remove selected items
For i As Integer = 0 To lstSubjects.Items.Count
If lstSubjects.Items(i).Selected Then
lstSubjects.Items.RemoveAt(i)
End If
Next
I don't even know if this is the most efficient way of doing it.

This is probably the best you can do, if you use foreach to step through the selected items, you can't delete anything while in the for each statement.

If you are running this code inside an event method (of a button click for example), bear in mind that if you are performing data binding on the listbox in the page load method, you need to make sure that the code is included inside the if (!isPostBack) section, or else the data binding will be performed on each page postback (when you click the button) and thus no item will be selected anymore in the listbox. The page load is executed before the button click event method.
